Meant to write about a hand at the casino last night.
I am UTG with T 8 and raise to £3.50. I get 4 callers.

SB checks and I think. The guy to my left checks and I say to the dealer that I hadn't checked yet. Dealer says 'oh sorry' and puts the action back on me. Player to my left complains that I had already checked. I hadn't and even if I had, what is the benefit of seeing one person behind check in a 5 way pot? As in, If i was going to try and cheat, this is not a situation where it would be helpful/advantageous.
However, two more people at the table then proceed to say that I had checked. Whether this is because I was winning in the game, they thought I had actually checked, or they were just trying to start an argument i'm not sure. One very well spoken man (who was under the influence) claimed he saw me check when I know he wasn't even looking in my direction.
Obviously I took offense that people claimed I was cheating and I was actually pretty upset. Especially when one player said, 'take your pot then' and mucked his cards angrily. The atmosphere was pretty tense afterwards and I left around 5 hands after. I apologised if I had given them the impression that I had checked and that I was in no way trying to gain an edge through foul play. People seemed to accept my apology but meh.
No idea why people still try and bluff me...

Reads on player:
He was fishy, not a huge fish but defs a fish. He seemed really aggro and had lost a pretty big pot a few moments earlier, so felt it was possible he was going to try something crazy.
Pre:
His three bet from blinds was high already, and after losing the big pot I felt he would three bet even more here, with a lot of air. So with my edge post flop, the fact he may be tilted, and the fact that I have position made me call.
Flop:
It's a pretty good flop for me and I think I stack him if he caught any part of the flop/has an overpair when I hit my straight. I also think I have the best hand here a lot v his broadways/Ax and random air. So I think calling is the best option.
Turn:
He bets pot and my first instinct is that he is bluffing. Betting this big and v quickly when the board pairs seemed strange. Even if he had AA he would think before betting. So when he bets pot like this he polarises his range. He never plays 99,88,77 like this. Even TJ he thinks a little bit before betting. So it is quite a lot to do with timing and bet sizing.
River:
This is not the best card for me, as his Ax hands that were bluffing get there. However, when I call two big bets on this board I have a lot of hands that beat an A in my range, and in general, players tend not to value bet their ace in this spot (even though in many cases it is right to do so) so I think he checks an ace here more often than not. Other hands that beat us would also check the river such as JJ, QQ, KK, 9T, 7T.
Basically when he bets the river he is repping super thin, basically 8x, AA, TT, and 77 (which we block).
Through the information that I had on him pre, and the analysis of the hand I was able to make the call.
haha you know I don't like folding mate!
But seriously, there are some combinations of betsize, timing and river that will make me insta fold.
I fold if the 9 pairs obv, because then my hand is dead.
I fold if a T hits and he tank bets.
I think about folding if he tank bets all in on a 6, J, T and maybe Q.
I think about folding any river if he tank bets small, although then I am getting insane odds so probably still call.

That's a good question. I'm really not sure. Obviously playing online day in day out can get quite lonely, so it is nice to have a bit of human contact! But live poker is just so slow, and can get really boring at times (especially if table is dull) I have put myself in tricky spots in the past because I have been card dead for a while and just want to play a pot so I open A3o from UTG or something.
I don't think I am going to be playing live nearly as much now. Partly because I don't think it's as profitable as online, and partly because the casino is pretty far away and the novelty of it has worn off a bit. Maybe i'll play once every couple of weeks or something.
My roll has hit the 5k mark. 5 buy in shot at NL200? 
Just kidding. Will probably wait till I have 40 buy ins or so

Thank you very much! Surprised anyone took the time to go through the whole thing Some of it is pretty embarassing when I look back now, I really was clueless. That's not saying I still don't have a lot to learn when it comes to poker ♦
Played a whopping 4.1k hands today, and ran terribly for the most part. Down around $200 I think. Was down almost $800 at one point though and didn't tilt in the slightest so actually pretty pleased with myself. Over $600 -EV 
But to be honest U have been running in God Mode for a month so can't complain too much.
