I have played many hands vs this opponent, shoving range can be 22+, extremely aggressive LAG. Is it okay to call against an 45/20 over 200 hands opponent here

hi,
preflop: open-limp - its close, i would even consider open-folding, dont open-raise

as played, fold vs 3B shove

even with your reads i'm never going broke with 88 for 30bb in this spot

we're opening in EP so villain is 3B shoving a tighter range, because we should be opening a tighter range, maybe 99+ AQ+

pls dont post results, thx

Hello all,

On table with 9 opponents I'm folding directly. Our hand is not good enough to raise.
As played after the loose player is 3-bet shoving, we got easy fold. As guys before me said, there is no need to gamble for such a big stack even against a very loose player.

Best regards,
Antoan

Opening here is fine if you feel good postflop. Ofc folding is also correct and if you are new to SNG go with 99/TT+ AQs AKo range from UTG.

Oppening 88 from UTG in 9 man structure is a bit loose. If you feel you have big edge post flop and are comfortable to play in a multi way pot with this hand go for it. If you do open however you bring yourself in nasty spot when somebody 3 bets. Since this was 3 bet shove it is very easy fold no matter how loose opponent is. You are still very deep and risking 30+ blinds on 88 is not ev+ move.
