Well, I'm a cash fish, but its bu vs blinds. So your river raise range should be pretty tiny here vs his line. I think its a case of: if you just call his donk he loses, but when you raise he very often have the best hand.Your raise is pretty big. I think you would only raise 7T That size for value? You're not doing it with 44 for example. And the blocker to your straights helps I guess...
Edit turn sizing disproportionately bigger than flop sizing which always makes villain think he's being pushed out of the pot.
But if this is the case our adjustment is so easy, just rai R very thin. Villains play makes no sense to me. He can play hero w just c/c R.
yes c/c River is way better, i can also raise 57 for that size cos he never has a straight here and probably never a set as well with that stupid sizing.
Session 2 with Internet (Lesson 1 on GTO course)
I'm supposed to be really good with math but realized I forgot how to solve simultaneous equations with 3 unknowns. Also got a little mind-fucked by the algebra for calling and bluffing frequencies but I managed to understand it after reading the notes again for another hour.
Looks like I'm growing older, slower and stupider
So pleno1 asked me to be a hand judge today so I agreed. I typically judge hands when I'm really bored (not in the mood to play poker, games and watch shows). Why not judge and get paid for it?
So I'm 5 days away from my exams. I read my notes and after 10 minutes I lose my concentration. "Ah, screw this BS why am i even studying?" I refresh the hand evaluation thread, using it as an excuse to do something else and see some guys posting new hands so I evaluate. 15-30 minutes pass and I resume my studies.
The cycle repeats itself several times until a few hours have passed. I have not learned much. FML.
hehe i think i reviewed over 30 hands today. im on my way to becoming the next veriz
Congrats to your new job, mbml ![]()
I am looking forward to seeing your analyzes at NL10 hands. Might be the most evolving thing in Poker since WSOP 2003 Chris Moneymaker
thanks for the support everyone!
For those of you who play Warcraft/Starcraft
There was a gaming competition held near my house (LoL and SC2) so I went to check out the finals for Starcraft II. First gaming competition I attended in 2 years. Also managed to get some autographs and signatures from Grubby, as well as a picture ![]()
I just arrived home, and feel a little depressed that I have exams in 3 days. What am I doing, wasting my time studying (to get a peanut-paying "Regular 9-5 Job")? The thought of working a normal job sends a chill down my spine. I better start making more at poker. 6 more months to go!
yeah im really comfortable now and i hope i can maintain my recent winrate for the next few years, since I'm going pro after graduation.
i don't think i want to stay there permanently but sure, I don't mind visiting for a few weeks or months
Weird that there's no news post yet. But Patrick posted on FB that it's out now.
Currently registering for my new account. Will check it out soon. Apparently our PS usernames are reserved for us in tradimo and we can link both accounts together.
