I think I'd 3-bet pre, with a middle pp you'll have problems when there are overcards on the board.
As played on this board I'd fold to and wait for a better spot.

Hi all,

Postflop looks well played.

Preflop against this player a 3bet looks better than a flatcall. In addition, I would also get it in vs a 4bet by him.

Hey,
Against CO we have just 25hands. 45bb effective stack-off 88s? He should be going there with 9% of hands to make it quite BE. I think we should play more post flop and crush them there. IMO it gets too marginal.

33/27 tells us a ton though and I feel like this is enough of an indicator that this guy is raising at least wide enough here. He will then either fold too much to our 3bet (we pick up the pot) or shove too much (we win vs his range).

Yeah overall it could be good, but i prefer to take a bit more caution lines. Cause players are really bad so our edge will be high anyway, so waiting a more certain spot may be a bit better still IMO.

what about AT/AJ in this spot? same line or better flat and play postflop IP? what if villain is 24/20 with CO OR of 18-20, what is our 3bet range?

You don't have odds to set mine here but if you 3 bet you must decide what to do to 4 bet shove? What is his 4 bet % and range? Do you want to flip vs AJ+ here or be behind some pp 99+ ?
In this instance fold pre flop or 3 bet to take down pot , fold to 4 bet is my option.

Flat AT, 3bet/get it in AJ, flat all the above hands and 88 as well vs a 24/20, fold ATo vs tighter opponents (or 3bet/fold :)).
