Hello.
We've got a little dispute in russian community about popularity of east European football brands in Europe. So I decided that the best decision is to make a little quiz into European communities. Please name three best known to you football clubs from Eastern Europe. Don't google if you know less :) and just name less. Thank you for your answers.

Historically best known are:
-Steaua Bucuresti 87' Cup of champons, final year or two later
-Red star Belgrade 91' Cup of champions
-Dinamo Kiev two Cup winners cups

Nowdays most popular are Shakhtar Donetsk, Dinamo Kiev because of their constant presence in Champions League and Zenit Saint Petersburg for winning Uefa Cup.

Anyone who doesn't write Red Star is dead to me :f_biggrin:

Anyway, I probably don't count because I'm from Eastern Europe, but from Ex Soviet union, it would probably be CSKA Moscow, Dinamo Kyev and Shakhtar Donetsk.

Steaua Bucharest? won the european champions league in 1986, also a few years later lost a final against AC Milan ( dream team )

In my opinion the 3 that first come to mind are Zenit, CSKA Moscow and Dinamo Kiev.

I don't think Anzhi are all that well known really, most of my friends at least did not know who they were until Liverpool played them in the Europa League.
