Poker tracker 4 small stakes v. is now working. I have played a small session (~2hours) to set it up. I must say its a lot better than Holdem Manager 2, faster and more intuitive. I made a simple HUD, nothing too crazy for NL10. Im missing some stats like positional PFR, guess i have download them from pt4 site. Popups are yet to be done, some tutorial would be helpful :O Hands are importing properly, stats and other stuff too - great. On my poker room there is no preferred seat option so i have to move HUD almost every time so its under right person - little inconvenient .

hud looks like that

notes/name/hands
vp/pfr
3b/ft3b/sqz
CB flop/ftCB F
steal/ft steal

Would you add/ remove smth? remember its nl10.

Some bros donated few bucks to me during PT4 setup

Bankroll: 297$

Im going to eat smth and then watch/read tutorials for pt4.

Simple hand:

X Poker Network - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

MP: $6.51
CO: $4.84
Hero (BTN): $12.51
SB: $24.78
BB: $10.00
UTG: $10.00

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has T♣ 8♦

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.30, fold, BB calls $0.20

Flop: ($0.65, 2 players) 9♣ 9♦ 4♦
BB checks, Hero bets $0.30, BB calls $0.30

Turn: ($1.25, 2 players) 5♦
BB checks, Hero checks

River: ($1.25, 2 players) Q♦
BB bets $0.60, Hero calls $0.60

Villain is regular like player, small sample cannot say for sure. I was playing him heads up befor table filled and he didnt get out of the line. Flop hard to hit, i thought any bet will get him fold weak Ax,Kx,Qx - pair and fd dont fold and i dont have much equity so hence small bet. He calls so i give up.. River looks like block bet and i think im good here enough % of time to call.

How do you play it?

As played I'd probably rep the flush and bet the turn, your bet on the flop can be seen as a semi-bluff if you're repping it and it's pretty believable, and I don't think he can really continue unless he has a high diamond, or he's got 4s or 5s for a boat. And chances are if he has the FH or he has a flush himself, he'll raise you and you can lay it down.

Here I guess he has Qx and hates the board, and/or a small diamond (probably smaller than yours).

Yes, betting turn seems better option. He showed up KQo, no diamond.

I have tried to play 4 tables but there is so much action with these guys i cant stand it coz im not focused. When i felt like clicking buttons without any thought i quist closed tables. Nonetheless 2BI poped in :f_biggrin:

Bankroll: 319$

I have promised a graph but the sample is still too small, ill post 10k graph when it gets there.

This hand was pretty cool:

x Poker Network - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 5 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (SB): $11.62
BB: $10.45
UTG: $12.11
CO: $10.27
BTN: $12.48

Hero posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has J♦ J♥

UTG raises to $0.20, CO calls $0.20, fold, Hero raises to $1.00, BB calls $0.90, fold, CO calls $0.80

Flop: ($3.20, 3 players) 3♣ Q♠ 3♠
Hero bets $1.47, BB raises to $5.88, fold, Hero raises to $10.29, BB calls $3.57 and is all-in

Turn: ($22.10, 2 players) 8♣

River: ($22.10, 2 players) 6♣

UTG is loose weak so i raise him for value and suddenly BB coldcall. BB is unknown but i've seen him doing strange things so it appeared hes a recreational player. Flop is pretty dry so bet in half pot will do the thing. Then he raises me so big - i cant see him holdink AA/KK and Qx wont raise this board because he get shove only from my TOP range and weak hand will fold. I put him on lower pocket pairs and jam.

I have no stats for villains just few hands. How do you play it, what do you put him on in this spot?

villain showed J :spade: 8 :spade: :f_love:

I dont know if im going to play tonite. Due to my bad diet, lack of exercise and living unhealthy + playing night sessions i got sleep disorder. I feel mind numbed and i think i will autopilot at the tables, which is not good.

At the end of the week im moving out of my flat, from this gray concrete jungle to small town in quiet area nearby. Mountains, forest and fresh air FTW! I know that healthy living is desired when you play poker, coz you can be focused longer and shit. Thats why ive decided to move out of the city. I will eat fresh stuff from now on, do aerobic exercises and run do get my condition bombed. Titanium body and mind, thats whats up!

I have read pleno1 thread about 6max and already improved my game, high fives all around :f_thumbsup:

I'm at this new location. The air is so fresh here it makes me dizzy =) I have already started eating well and exercising. Now I have to set up my old laptop, instal windows, tracker and stuff. Probably gonna do it tomorow evening coz whole family is here and I don't have spare time. I'm writing now from new tablet - cool device.

There is sooooo much value at the tables I feel almost guilty when I don't play X( I'm going to make bigger update when I make some volume so I could post my stats and graph, it will be somewhere this week.

Bankroll: 323$ -because rakeback was shiped

If i recall correctly and I am almost sure that I do there is a tool that offers table ninja type of things (e.g. fixed bets)for your network (the skin is blackc...poker??). If yes you should dig around 2+2 for it (poker planner). It also offers a converter for hm so you would be able to use it there. IT might be handy if you want to become poker pro cause you know volume first :f_biggrin:

Mos def I look into it, thx for info. I won't use holdem manager anymore tho. It eats so much resources ( ram, cpu ) and stops responding randomly its hard to use. Pt4 works much better.

Today I have watched boxing match. There was this dude from poland fighting some finnish guy for euro champion belt in federation I don't know. My countryman won, and it was a nice 12 rround fight. The case is he had FOUR days off this year. 4 days without training. What's even better he is my age. That's how champions are made. I will never ever ever whine that I have to learn or play - its just phatetic X(

Bad news. Shit went wrong and I can't really play now, I'll spare you details X( I need to get a job asap in order to play again. I don't know when it will happen, I'll let you know.

I'm so poker hungry I'm going insaaaaane ;(

Hmmm playing on tablet is an option. I could transfer some money to room that has android software. Can you suggest which one is best and why? Its always better than not playing at all :f_cry:

Good luck with the job hunt.

Suggestion:
Take anything, and don't stop applying for better ones.

End goal is find something you ENJOY doing.

Best of luck to you...

I'm playing poker on tablet you can't really multitable on it so I've decided to exploit pseudo-regulars on pokerstars, rather than waste FDB on other room with android software.

Its hard but I got used to it. For handhistory I have to send request to get it on mail. It wil be mighty funny when I get to nl25 on tablet :) I'll keep you informed on this. When I'll get enough hands maybe I will request them and import to pt4 to see my stats, graph and shit :f_cool:

I'll be following.
I've been curious about how tablets would fit into the poker world.

How kind of you to test this for us!

Today i hit 400$ mark but then i made 2 meh river calls and dropped a little.

Its last day of 2012 so its time to think in different perespectives on our life. Ive said to myself - what is the craziest thing you want to do? FLY - i replied to myself. But how can i fly ?( Hmmm pilot can fly, hmmm helicopter pilot _o:

Would i rather be grinding poker in front of my PC or fly like a motherfucker in helicopter? Hmmmm

When i think about being a heli pilot and flying skyhigh i always put my "mom please" face on. Its like a dream. On the other hand its not so unreal. There are commercial license integrated courses in Sweden just for 55k euro :f_biggrin: I must say pilot beat poker player any time for me _evil: So eventualy poker will be side job/hobby coz the main goal is to be handsome romantic multimilionaire jetfighter(helicopter*) pilot :f_love:

I know its fucking crazy idea, but hey - life is crazy.

I try to get a decent job and grind poker so i can afford license course, by the time ill get whole sum it will be cheaper (maybe*).

Now i have proper goal in life! (banging laydyboys in thailand must wait :f_frown: )

I've never been a heli pilot, but I flew in them a lot in the mid-70s as part of my job then.

It is a blast.

If you do have another job and want to fly as a hobby, though, nothing beats sailplaning for sheer enjoyment.

I've only done it once, but it is the most fun of all flying IMHO

Recently i was down to ~377$ by playing bad and trying some mtt, but then i started being awesome again and have fat sesion. Only 9bi to nl25, come on run-good GO!

I dont play much at all because im learning to pass exam so i can get a certain job. Im not a learning type and i have to put a ton of effort to force myself to learn. I preffer learning by doing, not by reading X(

There is no time to waste, so i will attack every limit with 20bi and take shots earlier. Cant wait to play nl1k ;)

There are different learning styles, and "learning by doing" is certainly one of them. In order to make it effective, though, you'll need to stop and give yourself feedback on your performance so that you can grow.

if you don't, your leaks become habits, then they're much harder to fix.

If you don't like the reading part, maybe you'll do better w/ videos.

It is best to go through learn => play => analyse cycles.

You seem energetic and eager == GO GET 'EM!
