I'm after some info on adapting opening ranges with fishier or weaker players behind you. Also on adapting calling ranges too.

This is for NL SH cash games.

Anything up to gold status would be fine to me :) . Also any strategy articles or discussions would also be great, thanks!

Hi Jules

mbml released a series a couple of years ago entitled "Perfecting Preflop Play" which may help you as he goes into plays both in and out of the blinds vs differing player types

Also BogdanPS has done many User Reviews with Pokerstrategy members who I'm sure may be going through the same problems as yourself

Additionally EmmanuelC's Knowing Me Knowing You Series is an Excellent Primer for players looking to adapt to weaker players

Hello!

I need a bit of help. As a US player, I cooled off after Black Friday sticking to 95% live play and just playing on Black Chip from time to time, nothing serious. Well it is time to make it more serious. Part of my goal is to be proficient with online play so when the US opens back I have an advantage over new/fresh/out of tune players.

I would like to concentrate on SNG, MTT ( 9/18/45man) Low stakes to start. In essence I would like to become a robot Multi tabling 4 tables at a time to start and growing from there. While I had successful and profitable year with online and live play in 2009,2010, and 2011, I never did full take advantage of ICM, NASH, or even using Holdem Manager. I get the basics, I get beyond the basics. I need to fine tune.

Which videos/articles would be able to help me? To answer your questions also.

1. Which game type you play? (No limit? Sit & Go? MTT? PLO, Fixed Limit, Other?) NL SNG & MTT

2. Which limit do you play? (example: NL25, SNG $11, FL .50/1) SNG/MTT $1-$5 to Start

3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up?
F,SH. I need some help with Headsup Play.

4. Topic? Playing like a Robot with NASH, ICM making solid decisions vs emotional ones.

5. What status video you want? Not sure what you mean by "Status Video". I am looking for videos that show full games with many examples vs general explanation. I welcome both, but I need to see the action.

6. Any other information I want to show a consistent profit and growth trend by understanding and exploiting the small edges in the game that my opponents do not. To understand the software mentioned above better as well. To continue on a path where I can make this a long term profitable venture.

Hi muumionu

Insyder has done some great HUHU work for us. In the following 2 videos he plays vs Pokerstrategy.com's own TeddytheKiller

http://www.pokerstrategy.com/video/26498
http://www.pokerstrategy.com/video/27086

Raskolnikov also has a small HUHU series entitled "Simple Heads Up Poker" here:

Additionally watch out for videos from the HU Championship being released by our coaches. Again insyder19 provides quality content here:

Hi Johny

One series that might peak your interest is "Champions Stand Up One More Time Than the Rest" by Rasolinkow. It deals very much with dealing with the ups and downs of poker including moving up.

http://www.pokerstrategy.com/video/27332

KTU also has a series called "Farewell to Chart Poker" dealing with effectively developing your game and is highly recommended
