Did pure cardio today (2nd day, 2nd week), and I'm aching all over, but I love it.

Added an "insane abbs" day at the end of week one, and had a break a day later. I think I might do that every week. It will mean that the whole insanity thing will be longer, but the extra few abbs workouts can only be good.

I didn't start the challenge too fat (lol). I'm 177cm and I had 80kgs. After 10 days, I'm still at 80kgs, but I feel much better and I can see the top two abbs Clearly some weight went from fat to muscles

Am I really insane to feel bad that tomorrow is a recovery day?

Wow so much positive vibes are coming from all you users i realy understand every word you guys are saying.

I hope i can get a newbee motivated to start the assylum insanity challenge with me in januari. So stop looking for excuses and just give it a try, WHO IS IN WITH ME ON THIS ONE?.

I also think it is much +EV for you pokerskills. I find myself much more allert en once you finish insanity you get this feeling that you can achieve anything you want, also with poker.

CHEERS

I'm pretty sure I'll do the asylum thing after I finish the "normal" insanity (maybe do it twice?), but it's not going to be in January, that's for sure...

My main worry is that i leave in a block. If i start jumping or all these things then i will make much noise in people living bellow me, Any solution?

Talk to the neighbors below you, explain that once per day you'll jump around for 40 minutes, and don't do it when it's not appropriate (evening, or after lunch, stuff like that).

Unless they're complete retards, they should be OK with it.

Otherwise, move.

Yoga mat is not an option if you have a wooden floor you will start to slip around. I live a 3 year old building with a thick concrete floor and extra insolation but still my neighbours down me heard me jumping around. Just explain what your doing and tell them it is 4 times a week 40 minutes max. You could plan to workout when there not around ?

Done fit test and figured out that it wasn't the brightest idea to eat a lasagne before doing it. :f_biggrin:

I'm up for a fit test, as well.

Had to take a few days of rest due to my knee hurting (made a nasty move while playing tennis, put too much strain on my weak knee), but worked out last two days without any pain.

Yesterday's pure cardio + cardio abs was sick :f_biggrin:

I love the cardio abs! :f_biggrin:

So I completed week 5 just before christmas, however I also twisted my knee somehow (Very Painful) :f_cry: so I haven't been able to do this for about a week and a half.
I think it's now alright to get back into insanity. As i want to get the most out of this I need your advice/suggestion....
Should I carry on where I left off and start week 6 after having this small break?
Should I start the whole thing again?
Should I go back a couple of weeks and start from say week 4?

Cheers

i would jump back 7 days in the program you are starting with the max training right? You should do the regular ones to get back in the zone. I did a max training for fun on a day off p90x, i thought i was dying it was so damm hard.

Anyway nice to here you got this far you should be very proud i know a lot more people who quited with insaniy then people who finished it.

What is this push up challenge?

Yeah would just be starting the max training... however, if i push back 7 days i'll be starting my recovery week once again. Should I go and do a week of week 4 (insanity week) then back to week 6 (Max)?

Cheers

100Pushups

There's also an Android app (not sure about iPhone) which is really nice and easy to use.

EDIT: Yeah, I'd do week 4 then week 6. You had recovery for 2 weeks
