When all the chips are in the middle, any skill difference is irrelevant.
So if SB can get a fold with his 15x then he collects his money and he doesn't have to succeed a lot to be profitable.

I see this a lot with short stacks. They raise ridiculous amounts from the blinds, since thy know that BTNs and COs can steal widely.

And it usually isn't worth BTN's or CO's time to go after them, because the implied odds aren't there.

Easy game.

Well done for making him pay for his folly

I was gonna post exactly the same thing! Does it matter if the money goes in pre-flop or post-flop? Either way we got stacks in and thus, it became my hand of the day....

My point is, that if you just jam pre, you will not have to make any difficult decisions post flop and potentionally get bluffed of your hand. You did get lucky to get a pretty good flop and him to just jam, but there are plenty of boards where he'd just barel you of your hand. Or did you plan on calling him down regardless of what comes?

But whatever, enjoy your $5 man

Did it look like I was gonna fold or 'get blown off my hand' when I raised his cbet? What are you talking about? I don't want to hijack this thread, but I posted my hand of the day and you're talking waffle. How is the ace on the flop, a 'good flop'? I felt he was bluffing and was ready to call him down. And you do realize that the $5 comment makes you sound a little silly.

Lol, this sounds like Mike Sexton's school of poker. I'm sorry for ruining your joy. Be happy, make love and enjoy your fortune.

Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.20(BB) Replayer
SB ($21.35)
BB ($30.03)
UTG ($20.47)
Hero ($28.28)
BTN ($19.50)

Dealt to Hero 9♥ A♥

fold, Hero raises to $0.60, fold, SB calls $0.50, BB raises to $2.50, Hero raises to $6, fold, BB raises to $30.03 (AI), fold

BB wins $12.60

the hand itself does not look interesting.

But here are his stats:

25/21/3.1, 3bet vs steal in BB 20, fold to 4bet 22 (9), wtsd 25, w$sd 52, 1.8K hands

How the hell can he fold to 4bet so rarely when he is 3beting that much?

Also I folded 7 out of 7 times in that table vs 3bets, so decided that I have to 4bet and still was not sure if its ok. because he does not fold to 4bets. Or this is the lack of sample and he is running hot when somebody 4bets him.

I had to quit the session because hands like this tilt me so much.

figured it's not only winning hands although most likely is

This hand finally sucked some emotion out of me after the whole session runs like that.

It's 6max hyper so it's quite 'okay' but really I'm waiting for this to turn around. getting too nasty
