Hi, Mal.

Nice session to end the year with. :f_cool:

You used to have another blog. How do you sort the signature/link out i.e. how do replace the old with the new?

I want to start my new blog but am a bit scuppered as I can't get the old signature/link off and replaced with the new.

Thanks in anticipation.

:f_biggrin:

Thank you very much roo, I hope you and yours had a great time so far as well! _cool:

@trickybob
I'll get back to you on that. I think we may need help from the senior ranks but nor sure to be honest.

@all
Yes it was 100Euro session, I played very late purposefully and stayed for around 2 hrs until around 3 a.m. I'd been watching Jools Holland and wasn't impressed by the lineup.

Started at nl4 6 max, 12 tabling and won so much I took a 15 euro minimum buyin to nl50 full ring and won a few there as well.

My 'won a few there as well' moment at nl50 full ring:
Raised pocket 3s from MP2 with 100bb+ by now. Got HU with unknown BB and hitting 3hAhJc9hAd. Pot was huge by the river as I'd raised the flop and he tank/called both flop and turn. So he open shoves river and after shitting my panties I clicked it for my stack and he showed Jh6h for an 85 euro pot.
I wonder if higher up like at nl100 that would be a fold there? No idea.

Anyhoo, that just gave me the bollox to take two min buyins to nl100 full ring but hit a wall and when I did get a hand they were much more reluctant to pay me off.

P.S. Actually I could only lose the nl4 winnings because I deliberately unchecked auto top-up to hopefully look fishy [which of course was the truth] and to stay clear of the bankroll.

Run good guys. :heart:

Heyyas Bob!

On any page of the forums, right at the top, you go and click the "Your profile" button.
Once inside, go to the "Edit signature" option.
In there, just change out the old link for the new one in the name bit and you should be golden. (without all the extra spaces, which were all added for the ability to see it without turning into links)

Lemme know how it works out.

Regards,
Richard

Thank you very much MC and I hope Santa was nice to you. :heart: :heart:

Mrs gadget took the tree decorations down this morning before going to work, which was not the greatest idea ever given she doesn't 'do' mornings very well. After the standard cursing and throwing stuff about she trod on the lights - ;

'Mal, come and help me, awww look I've broken them now!' Ggrrrr. Right, I can't do this, you'll have to do it, they're all broke now! ~(Crash)
'Yes babes I'll do them, but it's 6:40 in the morning and I'm in bed.'
'But the lights won't do what I want, I'm fed up now! Come and help me will you!?'
'Don't worry about it babes, put the kettle on and I'll fix them for you ok? It's ok it's not your fault, those lights were stupid ones anyway. I'll get some good ones next year, ok?' 'Now put the kettle on I'll be down now.'

:f_ugly:

British; at the first sign of stress, stop what you are doing, put the kettle on.

So I'm hoping to move to nl10 very soon but I'd like to have a 'In Case of Fire Break Glass' buffer so I will need a bit more than 300E and I have 290E at the moment. I expect I'll own like a god there too, but just in case...

Has anyone made New Year resolutions by the way? Not me, don't bother with such things. You know, raising the bar and all that balony. I worked out ages ago that if I raise the bar high enough I can just walk under it.

Easy game. _cool:

That and that milk in tea isn't disgusting.

I make a list of things I'm not going to do anyway, so I've broken all mine already, so that's over with for another year.

@Richard.

A partial success professor! I have the new title on my posts but I must have messed up somewhere because it only links to the post page and not my blog.

:f_confused:

Anyone have any ideas?

Managed to work it out though. :f_biggrin:

Thanks.

Ok so a strange calling station set of villains today, damn nobody wanted to bet out - except if they had underpair to board they bluffed it and gave up.

Anyhoo, how's this for tough!

hero: 66 r to 12c

bb (huge station) call 8c

flop: KK6 (pot 26c)

villain chks, hero bets 16c, villain calls 16c...hmmm nice

Turn: KK6K (pot 58c)

villain chks, hero bets 40c villain calls 40c... :f_biggrin:

river KK6K6 (pot 138c)

villain bets 35c , hero raises to 105c, villain shoves :f_eek:

Hero?

Fun game today but not much profit. Some of these guys were a right laugh.

Rock on.

Why bet the turn? You now lose to any pair > 66.

What? on a KK6K board having a Kx hand loses to 66?

No I mean Mal had 66, so I don't get why he bet the turn. River is sigh, then call.
