can you make some discussion about EV line? Can we trust EV line? Do you look at your EV line etc? Lets say someone is BE nl100 reg before rakeback but according to EV line he should be 4bb/100 winner. Can you say to this player its just a variance/bad luck, continue playing, it should turn around OR is EV completly missunderstood? Im obv talking about huge samples like 500k hands+..

Hello Pleno ! I know this is not your preferred style of play ( TAG that is ) but I got really hopeless after a downswing or bad playing ( don't know which one is it ). I was hoping you can help me by telling me your opinion about my stats/graph ( what seems wrong with it ).
I know that I should expect variance and that I don't have a big sample in hm2 but I've been playing for a while and in 6 max I think I have 150k lifetime hands played. In FR I have other 500k. Overall I am +EV but I just can't seem to beat NL10 and I don't know if is the variance that drags me back to NL5 or I just don't have the skill do pass them.

I have the same problem. I think it has something to do with lesser fish and overall better regs who play 3bet pots a lot better. Also you pay 11bb/100 hands rake on most sites even more. NL10 is byfar the most expensive limit in bb/100.
In other words: If you beak even on NL10 you are a 11bb winner. I try to be a little tighter and play more with the fish...

damn completely forgot about yesterday! I would also love it if your coachings were uploaded somewhere on the ps.com even the audio only. It still would be much more content then most of videos!:)
I started recording, but the lag was horrible on join.me, could barely see what was happening.
Kinda annoyed I stopped though cos we covered some really good theory.
Pleno, do you think you could post some cliff notes of what we covered?

Also was very laggy for me, Audio is perfectly fine just the screen/tables doesnt refresh quick enough and im often looking at a previous hand whilst your discussing the new one.

Pleno plz help me with constructing a good Cold calling range:
Suppose we in the BB with 100bb and MP (standard regular also 100bb) makes a 3x opening raise what hands can we call with?
Firstly I guess his range is something like: 55+,A5s+,K9s+,Q9s+,J9s+,T9s,A9o+,KJo+,QJo
Secondly we assume if we 3bet he will: fold 60 % call 20% and 4bet 20%.
Ok constructing a range simply from stats and using equilab:
So our Value 3betting range should be AK, JJ+
Our Calling range should be approx: TT-88, AQs-ATs, KQs, AQ
Our 3bet bluff range should be approx: KJs-KTs, QJs, AJo, KQo
Now looking at the ratio of pp vs broadway cards in our calling range:
In a multiway pot I prefer to call with pp whereas heads up I prefer calling with big broadways.
