SB tank is disgusting, I could maybe just maybe understand if you or BTN had him covered and he wanted to squeeze up one more rung on the payouts in case he got sucked out on, but with you both covered and with the nuts it's flat out horrific. Hope he crashed and burned after that.

That doesn't really make a difference though, you have the nuts, you're never ever folding. The next payjump was like 16 people away, I doubt you can really timebank that ♦ Also it was just like $160 which is completely inconsequential to anybody at that point of a tournament, more so to a guy who's down $16k lifetime from mtts.
He finished 10th for $2,8k btw, still a really good payday for him.
I ain't even mad tho, he's down a ton of money from poker and if this makes him feel like a real man and will keep him in poker, that's great for everyone.

Played a bit of sngs today. I'm kinda tired after yesterdays session so I only did 16 of them. I really have to start going to bed earlier, 3 am is bad. Also it feels weird to see my mum waking up to go to work when I'm heading to bed. But whatever.
Did pretty well btw, though the games really are getting kinda tough. Hopefully it won't be like in the summer of 2011 (god that's so long ago!) when there were like 3 regs+me at almost all tables, making it pretty much unplayable. But back then I didn't really care because I considered myself to be the greatest. ♦

Thanks man, tbh the only eng mtt blog I follow is this. I've played the guy in hu sngs last summer and he wasn't really good, so his recent ridic success keeps me motivated to work hard.

Had two really bad days, but I'm really happy with the way I played both sessions, esp today I think I played prob my best game this year. Really happy with my mindset too, even though I got some really lol beats I kept my cool and didn't even feel like I might start tilting anytime soon. Also I somehow managed to stop playing when I realized that this is not going anywhere, instead of putting in a 5 hr session trying to get even.
So yea, results suck horse's dick, but overall I'm really happy. I'm fucking Alficor1!

Volume is pretty disgraceful, I mean every two tabling moron plays more than me. (no offence to those who play just two table, but seriously, play more tables)
I did however make gold star by a pretty decent margin. I think this is only the 5th time in my life I've made gold star, which is bizzare. But that's how I roll.
Profit is good, with rb and other crap I'm slightly over $1k, meaning this is my 3rd $1k month in a row.
I'm still without my first online $1k+ score, which is absurd given how well I play. Woteva, I think it's coming soon.
I don't think I have anything else in mind other than that I passed all the stupid exams, but failed my volleyball classes. Oh well.

No, I'm definitely not concerned with that. Look at my graph on sharkscope. What's more likely - that I've just luckboxed the previous 10k sngs, or that I'm just unlucky in the 100 sngs?
100 sngs isn't really a long downswing, though it definitely doesnt make me happy to have any kind of downswing. You just have to stay positive, believe in yourself and your game and you're fine. I've been through enough in this game to be able to just shake it off and move on. Just focus on stuff you can influence and ignore all the shit you can't.

I'm back in mtts. Made the FT in a .fr mtt, but came 8th after some ridiculous beats. AQ<AJ for a ton, then 99<74o on 742r flop in a 4way pot (lol). Had no clue what to do w it tho pre, I don't expect the guy who flat called to ever be folding to a shove bc u dont rly flat with these stacks in these positions at all.
