Update/cliffs last two weeks:
- Took like 5 days off for an exam
- One day I ran very bad and also played too aggro / played bad
- Everyday below EV
- Still ~breakeven for the past 1.3k games
- Failed all TCOOPs

Plan is to try aim for ~3500 games this month.

My steps:
1. cry abit (just alittle bit) on skype/forum
2. reset mindset
3. put the volume, cuz husng is all about volume, more volume = reduce variance
4. improve game when i feel i haven't played my best
5. always have a target goal for the month, try to at least complete the goal for 80% or more

Thanks! I think the mental part of hypers is harder/more important than skill. Of course you need some basic strategy to win your limit but the mental part is keeping players (including me) from moving up. On the 30s, 1k swings are pretty std already.

Yeah chadder's good, slightly outdated but it should be able to beat 15s quite easily. At 30s it doesn't work vs most regs so vs most regs your breakeven or marginal winner, need to find better/advanced ways to exploit regs. But focus on fish ofc.

I started off with chadders as well than slowly improved my own game, trying to find best non-variance-heavy-strategy vs common actions used by regs.

15bb game is so easy. I can easy 6-8 table hu 15bb deep.

Vs competent HU opponent, limping is important. 15-11bb deep you can still play postflop with small cbets.

Variance is a bitch though @ 15bb deep. I prefer 25bb deep postflop game.

Some sad and good news. I'm going to start working on my final year at college since I've got accepted at a tax company for 6 months to work on my thesis and start graduating. Going to start in a month.

Poker wise. I wanted to try the first few months here as a full-time poker pro, at least try to do so. I have no financial problems nor money problems although I don't have rich parents but I still live with them and my expenses are pretty low.

The first two weeks I kept a strict schedule to play 200 games a day. After that due an exam and getting caught into a game, I didn't put much volume afterwards. I must say being a poker pro is not easy, at least its very hard especially the mental part. Hard to focus more than 6 hours a day in total (even with breaks).

I enjoyed giving a good attempt being a full-time poker pro although I started off at low stakes, I still made a solid $30/per hour, much better than working in a random store for half of that.

Took a different line vs readless reg. Wasn't too sure about the river. Either we potsize shove as bluff or c/c to let the reg bluff us. A lot of (bad) regs here call with gutshot/a-high float type hands, they tend to be aggro bad or passive bad.

Same here, i'd always push there on the river. He'll check so many decent sdvalue behind, with which he would also call a bet, but not bet himself.
