About this.He spoke some good ideas. Buy let's not forget, all great peoples who mention there to develop their business and ideas needed people who know how to make concrete things, how to build how to program software etc. This skills need a system of learning and without schools it would not be possible. Think about doctors or computers programing.
Indeed educational system needs a lot of improvement but he need solutions not blame.

Peace.
If you don't work on your dream someone will hire you to build theirs. Not everyone can be a leader and his point is: if you want to be a leader, the classic and safe approach is not the way. If you want to be extraordinary, the ordinary approach will not help you towards that goal, EVER. The education system is built for the masses not for the exceptions and it has enormous leaks in terms of quality but it's hard to think of another way if you want to educate masses.
I think quite often about how education in general could be improved and the more I think and talk about it, the more I believe there's no way to bring quality education for the masses. Quality education is targeted and at each individual's pace which is not possible to bring to everyone. It would not be sustainable for instituitions. I can keep ranting on education a lot but it's currently a waste of time to do so now because I have no concrete idea of how to improve it.

Most people don't want to be extraordinary. Most people want the standard 9-5 life that standard education makes possible. Those extraordinary few can get quality education if they're extraordinary enough through scholarships into world class schools where they get the nurturing they need.
Then why do they complain all the time how life is unfair, how they are unlucky to not be extraordinary?
World class schools are just like the rest: a business. What makes schools bad nowadays is exactly that imo. They act like a business and forget their main goal is teaching, not making money.

May be true of the management of Universities, but I can assure you that at any decent University, all the academics would 100% agree with you.

Yep, it kind of sucks to put business managers as educational managers. I'm on board with TT to buy your Uni and make it epic.
Uni is what you make out of it...
It`s not even half-semester now and I am almost done with half of my modules in terms of work (ok, I was almost done in 1/3 of the semester, then I focused more on personal projects)
Uni is good in something, but that something is not education. Education is what YOU put into it and what YOU want out of it. Uni is just an institution that takes your money (or if u r clever, money of the tax payers of a given country ♦
)
Aaaaaanyway,
WASSUUUUUUP MANUUU?
Yeah, there are very few exceptions that need and use University. It has become to much of a standard way of doing it without thinking about it.
Pretty good, Jose. You coming to Vienna anytime soon?
