I have been coached by Tim over the last month (today I had the 5th session).

I think Tim's coaching is great value for money. I came to him from cash games having played a while ago 9man sngs, but never 6max. In any case, the little knowledge I had from playing 9mans had been almost forgotten. I wanted to have a quick start to see if 6max sngs could be a path choice for me.

From the poker side point of view his knowledge is solid, and he has a great way of explaining the game concepts (needless to say that he is a successful poker professional). His analysis of hands is clear and to the point. He allows time for new ideas to settle and questions to be asked. I never felt I was saying/asking anything stupid or obvious.

A very important aspect of his coaching style is that he listens. In my case, this is very valuable, as I need as much (or more) of a 'general' kind of coaching as a poker one. By 'general' I mean all the difficulties that becoming a poker professional presents, for example, the implementation of all things learned towards something tangible. During our last session, he helped me plan and project a possible path to evolve into a professional poker player. With this vision I can now think if this is what I want, and what to expect.

I am taking some days off poker at the moment, but in the very likely case that I choose to go down that path, I plan to keep regular coaching sessions with him.

Thanks Tim :f_love:

There is nothing that i can say that will be enough to put in words how much improvement Tim has done to my game

I was a decent STT player when i started grinding but was afraid to move up the stakes even though i had the BR to

Then I came across Tims coaching page and the price was so low I was like what the hell lets give it a try

Ive now had 5 or so sessions with Tim and he has turned me from a BOT/passive nitty STT player to a calculative STT player

The most important things that Tim has helped me improve in are
- Confidence ( This is something that cannot be put up in pricing )
- Bet Sizing ( My major leak )
- Calling ranges

At the price that he offers its a Steal deal

I received coachings from Tim sporadically between September and the new year and I can honestly say it has been the single greatest reason I've improved my game since I started playing SNGs "seriously" in July. Despite set-backs like my hand-history reviewer being dysfunctional or my HUD being unusable on certain sites, Tim was patient, thoughtful, and understanding when faced with some of my more terrible post-flop moves.

On the whole, before coaching I was a $1 grinder who thought he had the right idea, but after coaching I'm a far more thoughtful, aggressive, and technically sound player who has just dipped his toe in his first $5 tournament :f_biggrin:

Thanks a lot Tim I look forward to getting more Coaching from you in the future and, if things go well, it'll be entirely on the fishes' dime.

P.S. GREAT VALUE, KNOWLEDGEABLE, EXCELLENT TEACHER, DO IT DO IT DO IT GET COACHED YOU WHO READ THIS POST

Hello,

I am interested in some coaching sessions. Do you also do sweat sessions? I feel like I have a lot of leaks that I want to plug before I made my way to low stakes.

Thanks,

Maythany

Hi maythany,

please contact me using the community tool.

I am happy to do sweat sessions as part of a coaching program. They are a great way to identify many leaks quickly.

Tim

I am hoping we could start our session this coming Saturday. How many coaching hours would be good enough to become a winning player at the 6max microstakes?

Great coach! Hired Tim for some coaching and damn it was a great experience. Nice guy, straight forward and honest. Easy to speak to and likealready said. Listens to the one being coached. Not just put in his visions in as the correct ideas for the plays. I enjoyed my session with him and will be taking more lessons as soon as I move up stakes or hit a wall. He opened my eyes for some great spots to play differently and not loose money on those spots o the long run.

Easy to set up the coaching with him too. One of the goodguys out there! Great value and thinking how much he makes hourly its even better thinking he can give away his time from the tables.

Thanks Tim!
