  • 11euro re-buy MTT on microgaming.
  • BB is a reg (his statistics are loose but I only played with him in the re-buy's MTT so it is the case ), 29/17/3bet 7.4 (from SB 12,from BB 6), Cbet 38 (IP 50, OOP 25, but in 3bet pot I think he will cbet ~90% of the time) after 300h
  • We already have some sort of dynamics, I steal a lot and he starts to adjust with 3bets.
  • On ~ 30bb stack do I have some calling range besides KK/AA?
  • There is room for 4bet? What sizing? CIB?
  • What range to flat, 4bet-ship, 4bet/call, 4bet /f (if there is room with ~30bb)
  • As played I dont like call pre with AJ (probably should ship), postflop is still a place for a call or ship is std?
    Sry 4 my english ;)

Hi all,

For the easier questions:

Call flop is best, 4bet/fold preflop is impossible given stacksizes.

In this spot I don't like a call preflop either. Flop pot once we call is already about 17500, and we have only 36000 behind. I think given the sizing also, a call is less attractive as our risk:reward when shoving it in instead is much better.

I think you can stick to calling preflop with something like KK+ here.

Thanks for the reply chenny888 _cool:
So what range to ship it? 66 +, ATs +, AJo +, KQ?
How do I set the range? Somehow it is possible to calculate it? Or I do it instinctively?
4 example I played 4 value AK, TT + and add some medium strength hands ~ AT-AQ, KQ, 66-99 that dont play bad vs calling range + he just often folds with air.

And with AK/QQ I should just ship it or make some small 4bet to induce?

Actually you want to look for hands that do better against his 3bet/calling range. Players typically don't 3bet/call hands like 77-99 as much, preferring to call them preflop even with history. As a result you can definitely shove any pocketpair any time.

Rest of it seems good. I think 4betting small with JJ/QQ/AK is good, seeing as this is a euro site (typically softer games).

One more thing, and I leave you in peace, promise _love:
So if he gona 3b/c me with AK, TT+ but have some 3b/f hands it is better to:
4bet/call with AK/QQ/JJ
Flat: AA/KK
Ship: 22-TT, AQo+, AJs+
and 4bet/fold some blokers like AJ/AT/KQ/KJ/QJ

or dont have 4b/f range and 4b-jam:
~22-TT, AJs-AQs, KTs+, QJs, JTs, AQo+

No 4b/f range, also his 3bet/call range is wider than that. Because of this, the equity we get once we 4bet is good enough such that we can't 4bet/fold many hands at all.

So U think he will be 3b/c AQ+, 99+? Or wider? But I dont think he 3b/c AJ cos my 4b-jam is AK heavy.
Then if he calls wider my 4b-jam range could be ~22+, ATs+, AJo+, KTs+, QJs, JTs ?

Probably TT+ AQ+ or thereabouts. With any dynamics, I think he should 3bet/call AJ, but maybe he doesn't. Your range seems good :).
