WHY???? am i missing something, explain please, i'm always flating in this spot #fishobv
We're against a very loose opening range (bad implied odds), BB can squeeze or call, both of which make us OOP for the rest of the hand, and we generally cannot call enough other types of hands to balance our SB calling range (so villain can just cbet ATC and make a profit against us postflop). Calling from BB is very standard here, but vs CO or BU openraises we can literally have 0% coldcall range, but at least we should fold our low pocketpairs (or 3bet them).
Hmm so u r saying we shouldnt have any calling range from SB in this spot? If thats not true...what range should we call from sb?
What range we should 3 bet from sb?
Imo i'm calling smth like 22-99/face cards) suited conectors sometimes call at-aq sometimes 3bet them
3beting like top of my range tt+ak and some suited conectors and stuff depending how.loose co and btn are and how often they call 3bet
I think we should call 77-99, AJ, AQ and sometimes AA. Because this is such a fixed and limited range (and not particularly strong), a player I respect highly reckons that having no flatcall range from the SB vs late position opens is much better. Things differ if BB is a fish, or if the LP opener is particularly bad postflop, however.
