today I will do some PC rebuilding

My wife's => windows vista reinstall -> windows 8 upgrade
Mine => factory rebuild, windows partition exclusively for poker + a couple linux partition for work and other fun stuff
The Family beast -> a good clean

Hey, what linux distro are you using, and for what purpose ? (if not a topsecret )

I started using Ubuntu recently, been self-studying python and basic bash commands ;p

hey... I'ts been a while :).

anyway about the linux distro I use ubuntu or centos for development and RedHat for production at the moment

I probably will be back in a few days with some updates

Thought I should give an update

maybe try to revive the old blog.

I am back playing at PKR and now the title of the blog is pretty irrelevant so I should change it (yes, again) when I can think of an appropriate one.
Any ideas welcome.

Since last Tuesday, I have now decided not to quit a session while losing. And I did. Most sessions ended catching up from a long losing session and end up a few $$ up. But at least the graph goes up and the BR grows little by little.

My daughter wants to learn how to play, so I have found myself a student + a way to keep her out of trouble

Just got home from work and planning a 6 hours session (with breaks) at least and not to stop unless winning.

btw don't know why you wanna do this but it seems like a bad idea to me, we all have losing sessions, not much we can do about it.

Got back to NL50 but had to withdraw about 3/4 of my roll so at NL25 atm.

I am in the green, hehe but I gonna keep playing just a bit more

I should b e back at NL50 soon I think. To be fair the level is so weak that if I should manage to minimise my losses and maximise my winnings

Defo , + PKR is fun as well so it's a win win situation.

I ended up about 3.5BI in the green yesterday so pretty happy with the results although there are couple of hands where I probably could have found a fold and I didn't

I know I've said it before, but if I played on PKR, I'd just be chicken-dancing all the time.

In Rush and Zoom the fish play better starting hands, end up making stronger hands postflop and then overplaying them because they don't understand relative hand strength......or so I'm told.....I think I read it in a book somewhere......

I now haven't lost a session for 2 weeks now :P, although I have had some late sessions. I had a bit of a tilt last night after a maniac fish hit 5 monster in a row (2 quads, 2FH and nut flush) and 3 of the times I had very decent hands and got stacked ♦; and then he quit. I just stopped took a break for a few minutes and came back and grinded it back.

I gonna start taking shots aback at NL50 and see how it goes.

I will be playing the SM this weekend along with the hotter 75 and the bigger 11.

I have also hit 70K SP milestone, so still far from BM but on the way

I find it tougher to take when I pay the regs off, it's harder to gtr it back from them. I know I shouldn't look at it like that but I do.

I don't know what these tournaments are about, but I trust you'll keep us updated at the weekend? Pretty please?

I don't worry about the regs. OFC I try to see how I can exploit them because most of them are pretty weak. I mostly concentrate on the fish and try to play hands vs them and get the money off them.
