@ dydukas - thanks for the kind words man :) I didnt know that option existed in sharkscope... By the way HEM is not working for FTP, but I am almost sure that my swing was coming from playng superturbos... And i guess 150-160 BI swing with 10bb starting stack isnt that uncommon...But such a big downer is definitely working on my psyche and confidence in my game :)

But as already pointed in other blogs - everybody goes trough such a period, so the resolution is simple - work as much as I can on my game, and grind my teeth and... grind :)

Super turbos is harder game than most people think. It's like a sport. You need to train to get right ranges and only a month isn't enough for that. It's like throwing the ball in basketball. Every pro knows how to do but still he doesn't do it right all the time. And loosing the whole game by a few points in basketball shows in the result. But in poker you just loose the whole game at that's it.

Sick swing bro... Had a similar one in December - more than 2k euros down  It should turn around. Keep it up.

SO i've hit rock bottom.
Got another note that i need to deposit if I want to play, which means I am down another 2.4k this month...
So it seems maybe i did make a mistake trying to go pro... Seems
I lack both the skill and the mindset for it.

I would make a final deposit and if this money + the money from this month RB are not enough to get me trough I am done with poker as a carreer :)

I would not recommend playing super turbo games if you have mindset issues. Big swings are part of those games as achievable edges are small. Especially if you play on mid stake+

Hey,

Yeah that is solid advice... I only played 14's but I guess I should drop those as well...

Hey Gavron!

I've already told you, but here it goes again: I don't think you lack the skill. You need to improve, sure, but who doesn't? You are better than the regs grinding the $22s, I'm positive about that.

For your mindset - yea, sure it needs some work. No surprise tho, a swing like this could destroy the healthy attitude of most people, except for the very very experienced.

Grind through mate! Keep breaks to ensure an A-game!

buid 1.10.7.0 from 28 dec... make a new DB just for FTP and reimport all your ftp hands. This is how I got it working and showing ftp results correctly, hope this helps.

So another hectic month has gone by on Ongame tables..
I am down 1.7/1.8k, but the good news is at least this month I am winning a bit over 1k after RB with does not make me very proud but... meh :)

I ran pretty horrible again and started to really loose focus of my game at some point, the good news is I kept on grinding and almost hit my rake goal (1% off).

On top of everything i had problems with my HEM, it turned out that my old data base is corrupted and I lost some hands + notes.

On top of that I had some health issues, which included injections in the muscles of my behind, and I have to tell you - that is some painful stuff!

So yeah.. Pretty hard month - lets hope March would be better

Why you keep playing in ongame?

@ Tim64 - thanks mate - I see you are going trough a rough patch yourself, best of luck to you too!

@ Belthazorrrr I believe this is the best platform for me at the moment considering the RB/fishiness at the tables
But My runbad started at Full tilt actually - I dropped 100BI there before moving to ongame :)

Why you dont consider pokerstars? With your volume you can easily reach nova for good rakeback

You seem to have some serious issue with some hand histories or converter. Checked couple hands you had posted and blinds information was missing from all...

You are correct.. Seems I cannot find the HH's ( I unmark them as soon as I went trough the hand) these ones should have to remain so - I will check what is wrong when I post future hands..

Supernova is kind of long term commitment and I am not sure if it is better than RB at Ongame at all, considering the supposedly tougher opposition at Stars for Midstakes..
On the other hand 'I've been playing on Ongame exclusively the whole last year, so I am familiar with the players and structure..

As soon as you are all in, minimise the table or look away. go back to it a couple of seconds later. Either you are still in the tournament or you got knocked out. if you got knocked out the only reason for caring about how it happened is because it tells you about your opponents broke range
