Maybe it is profitable for him to do occasional jam if you steal fold a lot
Sooted hands are overrated. Off suit has two flush draws! Almost like double suited hand in omaha... Just random fact.

Thank you my friend; best of luck moving up!
Not much to report, I'm afraid. Games are tough and I'm 60BI down from my high point of middle last month. Usual stuff...
I'm just trying to keep my volume reasonable while this lasts and make sure my fitness doesnt get too poor. Mentally feeling pretty strong despite the $6k hit...
Doing a little bit of prep away from the tables and working on an index for this blog.
More later
Planning to check this video: "Sunday MTTs: Premier League Event by MelanieWeisner"?
Careful, jbpatzer, or my proofing technique will miraculously disappear ♦
And no, bigsqueeler (not fooling anyone, btw) this is not a bad beat thread. At least, not when I'm running well.
Which is Never. F**********ck!

6mx $100. SB is a spewy fishreg. BB is a strong reg with, ahem, anger management issues. And also "making horrible spewy bubble calls which lose about $35 a time" issues.

A4o. For 17bb. Against the joint chip leader. On the bubble. Yep; snap call for me too.
Runbad continued into the start of this month and it's been pretty swingy since then. General trend is upwards, however, and today improved the picture significantly.
I've branched out a bit to include the occasional 18 man on Stars (basically don't run elswhere - wtf?). I'm not that familiar with the dynamic in these games, esp. being FR, but at least they're no more regfilled than anything else.
Which brings me to this: I'm afraid to say 6mx on Stars/Party above the $60s is a pretty unforgiving place (On FTP basically only hypers run). I'm seeing games start up with 5 or 6 regs all the time. And I really struggle to understand how these regs hope to beat the rake when they care so little about game selection. Sadly what it comes down to is that we've reached saturation. The pool of recreational players available is, imho, insufficient to support the pool of regs currently trying to makes a decent living from them. Two things may happen: 1. either some regs leave the game; or 2. all regs will have to work longer and harder for a lower wage.
Anyway, here's the news:
Pushing hard for that 800 game tally by month end.
@ A4o call - just wow, totally
@ 18mans - u just dont know the regs yet
60s+ is same regfest, but ok, u can get 4 fishes there sometimeeees
@ regfestness - 60s+ and sometimes even 30s :((( = SNE grind for so many guys there...no table selection, notin, just reggin and reggin and it makes sense for em, it is money...it s post RB, poker goes way behind, but...I share the view as u have, I am almost vomittin when i see 8regs and waitin for the last guy...That s why I was keepin myself at 15s as long as I could, I made more money at 9mans 15s with not so gross volume thn anyone at 30s+ (PRERB), so the situation is same here about over year (talkina bout 9m)...thn they add some new format and it is the same super fastly...But for me personally at some point 15s stopped bein challengin :/ It is such a fight, choosin between challange factor, RB, preRB, swing, hours/hourly...bluh...
Technically - u r workin your ass on gettin better, u move up to 60s (only fvckin 60s) and u relaize it s useless coz u cant beat the rake coz of there are only RB pros grindin...
Hope am not too dark in thoughts, but u set the mood ♦

Yeah it's like yesterday I thought maybe I will play session now --> Go to check games, first 6max game I check with 4 people registered. 4 regs... Had bit of a ironic laugh.
Must be partly because of sne runs, but I assume that some think "I am better than those other regs" and won't understand that it doesn't really matter much. Every breakeven or even bit losing reg will make his achievable roi much smaller.
Just finished watching Michael Haneke's Funny Games US. Don't entirely know what to make of it.
I guess I understand that I'm being criticised for wanting to watch a film in which a smug wealthy American family are terrorised in their idyllic lakeside home by two blonde haired, blue eyed sadists.
But I also wanted to watch his other films, The White ribbon and Hidden. They were both excellent without being either moralising our hectoring in tone. Yes, there is something unpleasant in the current prevalence of so called torture porn movies like Hostel and the Saw franchise, but such films will eventually outstay their welcome and be replaced with a new development in the horror genre.
In the meantime, horror fans should watch what they want as part of entertainment and escapism. Lessons are for school, not the movies.
Hi coach, nice to see you took up some 18mans!
I`m still long shot from 60$, but what could be the opportunities of achieving better roi there (as I understand table selecting is not an option and lets cross out the break even sne grinding option as well!).
I think the really good players are making 10% at $60 18mans. At $100s is probably not more than 5%. Another funny hand:
$100 6mx. Bubble. 3 regs.

This. Bridget Jones II is my one of my favorites.
Did you find the original Funny Games more enjoyable?
Have you perchance seen The King of Thorn (japanese animation)?

Annoyingly I haven't seen the original but I expect it's better because I really didn't think much of the acting in the remake.
Not heard of The King of Thorn. Should I add it to my list?

Things NOT to do on the bubble of a $115 hyper turbo:
1. Don't limp monsters like JJ on the button
2. Don't flop two overs to your preflop monster
3. Don't insta turn your hand into a bluff by potting a flop where it's literally impossible for you to be called by worse
4. Don't cling onto a weak top pair when two players want to get AI on AQQ
5. Don't think somehow JJ might be good when your potsized bet on AQQ induces a cold call and a shove.
