January Review
January has been a very good month for me, at the start of the month I played $0.25 tourneys and for the first 700 tourneys after taking shots at $0.50 I was around breakeven. However I stuck to hit and finally hit an upswing and played $0.50 tourneys. However after playing on $0.50 limit I reviewed my stats and noticed my ROI on 90 mans was much higher than 45 mans. So as you do, I cut out the 45 mans and hit such an upswing that I found myself rolled for $1 tourneys.
This meant I then played only 90 man tourneys, $1 and $0.50 only and after about 500 tourneys playing these and running around 50-60% ROI I had $250 in my account and took a shot at $2.50 180 mans. Thankfully this was a successful shot and my bankroll grew and I was rolled to play $2.50 comfortably. I also final tabled a $5 MTT while playing these and ended up finishing 4th but had a really horrible suckout which I will post over the next couple of days.
However the last couple of days I have also taken two shots at $8 and $3.50 180 man tournaments and ended each session around $80 down so -$160 for those tourneys right now. But I am still really happy with the way the month has gone and didn't think I would be playing $2.50 by the end of the month.

As you can see above I run very good at 90 mans and also achieved a decent ROI at 180 mans but as this is only a small sample size, February will be a key month which I will see if I have just been running good or whether I am actually a winning player at this limit.

Problems
My main problem this month was I would load up 30 tournaments or so and as they would gradually go down I would get worried that im not going to cash. But always ended up on 2-3 final tables and sometimes even winning one or two. Another problem I had when I took a shot at $8 and $3.50 limit was my game would completely change and spots where I would usually shove I didn't. I think I will have to wait until I have the correct amount of buy ins before I play these again, I wont be taking any shots at these in February as I want to be comfortable with playing them first.
February Goals
In February I will aim to just play around 1500 tournaments, im going to stick to $2.50 limit and re-evaluate when I have a roll big enough for $8 and $3.50 rebuy 180 mans. At the moment this seems to be working for me. In February im going to stick to $2.50 180 mans and only those and try to play no MTTs or rebuys as this buggers up the stats as you can see in the graph above.

My Thinking:
CO was min raising a lot preflop, and generally stealing a lot of pots which is what you expect from competent players. The thing is I didn't want to just shove and take it down pre-flop because I thought there was no value in that. And if I called and an overcard dropped then I could re-evaluate from there, however when the flop came I put him on some sort of 8 maybe suited connectors or A8 hence why I shoved. Would anyone of played this hand differently?

Minraise is really weird if he's try to steal because it gives the blinds good odds to call /w any pp, any high cards, any suited connectors, and stick on the flop, and the fact that he's in the CO means he's often going to have junk so I like the smooth call. I think on the flop I prefer a raise to say 200k-250k rather than just flat out jamming, but he called it way behind anway and sucked out so it doesn't make a difference really. Played it great, just got unlucky.

Yea I did think about that, there was no way I was folding on the flop but I thought if I raise to around 200-250k then its sort of shows im strong, but a shove looked a little more fishy. Although I think a min raise there is fine because a lot of the times you could get called by worse than 99 and be in great shape. I dont hate the way he played it I actually think he played it perfectly aswell, just a cooler he got there on the river
February Review
February has been a difficult month for me, although it did start very well with a $120 upswing it then followed with a $250 downswing which I then carried on playing $2.50 180 mans and decided around 400 tourneys in that I was going to cash out some and leave enough to play $1 and $0.50 90 mans. I decided to do this because of two reasons, firstly I think moving up so quickly actually halted my learning process and I was getting lazy when it come to studying. Also I had mindset issues which meant I would tilt after losing big hands with KK or QQ to AX, this is something which I will need to overcome but at the moment I think its best I stick to 90 mans to gain more experience.

How many tables do you play at once? and how long do your sessions usually last?
I love playing MTTs and MTT SnGs but I never seem to have time to play them, which isn't really much good as I guess they're a volume game.

Cheers mate, Jan was better than Feb but hoping for a big March or April 
I play anywhere between 25-35 at a time (stacked) and my sessions usually last for around 3-4 hours, if I play more then I find I go into a trance and its all a bit robotic, however I do move my final tables aside so I can play more than just ABC poker on those
What I sometimes do is load tourneys up, stop once I get to a certain number and play them out, this can be good if you want to take a break in between sessions or control how much your playing with.
So I decided to play some on Full Tilt, Was running good and then the below happened right before the final table!
This sux because I find it difficult to multi table on Full Tilt so the beats hit harder 
oh well only a 50 cent tourney
I guess now I will be going straight back to Pokerstars as the software is way better
