NL, SNG SH, MTT Freezout GTD prices

2. Which limit do you play? (example: NL25, SNG $11, FL .50/1)

NL2, SNG $1, MMT up to 1$

3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up?

SH for NL and SnG
FR for MTT

4. How much do you play? (e.g. I play 3 hours a week, or I generate $1000 rake/month)

At least 2h a day. I'm building my bankroll.

5. How many tables do you want to play?

3 to 9

6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months?

Build a solid bankroll for multi-tabling and move up to higher limits.

PS I'm 20 years old and I live in Belgium. I am not allowed to play at some platforms due to the law (21y+).
I used to play at partypoker and in 1 month build my bankroll from 30$ to 140$ but they've changed their policy, so I'm not allowed to play there anymore. Then again, I moved to Everest but I had to stop playing there (due to not receiving PS points). Now I play at MansionPoker, but here are no NL2 tables and I play NL4 (running good but my BR is still vulnerable for playing NL4. I started yesterday with 30$, now I'm at 48$)

Hey Vito992,

I will ask my colleague for some help to see what we could suggest you with your specific situation. We'll be back soon.

1. Which game type you play? (No limit? Sit & Go? MTT? PLO, Fixed Limit, Other?)

NL CG

2. Which limit do you play? (example: NL25, SNG $11, FL .50/1)

NL100

3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up?

SH and sometimes HU

4. How much do you play? (e.g. I play 3 hours a week, or I generate $1000 rake/month)

1500 - 2000$ / month

5. How many tables do you want to play?

6 tables

6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months?

I want to grind in a room where I feel good and without problem. I'm french and live in Canada for a few month so I'd like to avoid those rooms who often ask for documents (I don't have a fixed adress).
I prefer a fishy room to a rakeback oriented room.

Thanks.

Hello CharlesPkR,

Thanks for the kind words, we also think that this thread allows our users to ask for advice and openly discuss the options.

Regarding your case, I've escalated to my colleagues who are responsible for the French market and they will be in touch with you in this thread or in email format.

We could speed this up if you just add me on skype: ingrid.nagy.ps and jump on the topic together. :)

Speak to you soon!
Ingrid

Thanks for your suggestion.
What defference between willam hill and unibet?
I saw willam hill had high rake back rate.

Moreover, how about table softness?

Hey Vito992,

As for SnG and cashgame you play shorthanded, I think Unibet.be would be my first pick for you. At the end of last year they obtained a license for poker in Belgium, so you get rid of the problem of having to switch rooms _cool:

The offer on Unibet.be is also very nice, as through PokerStrategy you get 30% rakeback regardless of the total points you collect, which will help you in your bankroll building.

Are you Dutch of French speaking?
For creating the account at Unibet.be you have to use the special link behind the Belgian flag in step 1. You can find the Dutch download guide here (If you speak French, just change the language at the top right to go to the French guide):

1 Remark: at the moment some players report a problem getting to the cash tables directly at Unibet.be. If you have this problem too, please have a look in the Dutch forum. I'll create a short guide there today on how to fix this problem. But most players have no problem, so hopefully you wont need this _cool:

If you have any questions, or would prefer another room or info about other options, just let me know!

Cheers,
Rene

Hey Gonchan,

This is the situation where I would say you can't have everything good in one

William Hill have higher rakeback options while Unibet have a flat 30% rakeback + promotion added (and no stress making it into the rake race or get involved with the VIP system).

William Hill is also part of our 2013 Gemstone promotion which means you'll get rewarded again at the end of the year next to the VIP system benefits.

Unibet have great software and also Microgaming known to be very soft too.

You will also find sufficient traffic at both rooms. Unibet however have the anonymous tables which means you can still use your hud but will probably have less read on the opponents than what you used to. However I haven't heard that this would bother any players who currently playing there.

It's not forbidden to mix your volume and try both rooms :) and decide later which option worked out better for you. At least as long as you clear both FDB's you will definitely have high rb value on both rooms and by then you can get a feel what to like and what not to like.

I hope this helps, but you can always catch me on skype if you want to chat more about this and I'll be happy to assist you.

Bigger bankroll, to play in a room with a lot of fish. Currently I play on Pokerstars, Fulltilt and Ladbrokes Poker...

hey brogac,

I would suggest to join Unibet , great software and soft competition next to flat rakeback which is nice when you play microstakes.

You'll have flat 30% rakeback + exclusive €5,000 Unibet Rake race + €1,000 First Deposit Bonus of €1000.

Please follow the instruction here to download the Unibet client.

I hope this helps

Hi,

thank you for all advice here...

so i want your advice what is most suitable site for me playing games like ZOOM or Fast Poker (i don't know if there are also any other else on market).

I want the best combination of VIP structure, most promotions, rake paid, bonuses, soft competition etc.

1. Which game type you play? No limit ZOOM/ Fast poker/Rush

2. Which limit do you play? NL10

3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up? SH

4. How much do you play? 8hour/week

5. How many tables do you want to play? 2 (ZOOM, Fast Poker, etc....)

6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months? Moving to NL20

Thanks guys.

hello Alan, :)

I'm here, sorry for the late response.

Wanting all the goodies may just work out for you this time. playing nl10 gives you how much rake/month about? do you reach 5k hands/month?

Anyway, I think Unibet have great software, soft competition and flat 30% rakeback which is good as long as you're on the "building my bankroll on microstakes" stage because you will get your rb and no sweat to get into competing in any rake race.

Unibet also have Blaze poker which is similar to the ones you mentioned but probably have less traffic so don't expect to find something similar as Zoom.

You will also have great First Deposit Bonus which will clear ~20%.

Please follow the instruction here to download the Unibet client.

However, if you're not comfortable with the anonymous tables we can look at other options. Can you catch me on skype:ingrid.nagy.ps and lets get correct data on your volume too so I can look into this better for you :)

Speak to you soon.

a) Doesn't have shitty software (so no iPoker) or traffic
b) ideally at least 50% rakeback when combining bonus offer and affiliate rakeback (otherwise Stars is better because lower rake+worse rakeback>higher rake+more rakeback
c) Is fairly trustworthy

Have spent a week with 24hpoker trying to deposit but they are so difficult that I'm close to giving up.

hey metza, how are you?

just before you I advised another player to go check out Unibet, soft competition and great software imo.

But we can also look into other poker rooms for you, but before I do that, can you please tell me how many hands do you play/month?

also can catch me on skype for quicker discussion: ingrid.nagy.ps

Hai!

Played on PP for a while, but with this segregation business I decided to nip it in the bud and take my BR elsewhere. Looking for a new poker room! I have a stars account, but i made it before I was getting tracked by ps.com, so i would like a room where i can be tracked!

I was looking at Ladbrokes, but I am from Canada so I am wanting something with a larger (fishier?) player pool cause I don't really play during peak times. Any suggestions? (also got my first $50 on 770, really do not like that software haha.)

I don't get the recommendations either. Right now there are 135,000 players on stars. I just opened iPoker (via Titan) for a comparison - under 6,000.

That's a pretty gross discrepancy. I want to move poker rooms myself to find a bonus to clear, but I just cant reconcile leaving a room with more than 20 times the activity of the competition.

Hi,

I have only been playing for a couple of weeks and I chose to play at ladbrokes. I play NL SnG's at the mo and I am only playing at the 0.20 tables.

I am making a slight profit each session but I just wanted to know if it would be better for me to move to another poker room or not?

I play on average two hours a day and my plan in the next three months is to get out of the micro limits! :f_biggrin:

So should I stay at ladbrokes or is there a better Poker room out there for me?

Obviously PokerStars has the biggest traffic - that really goes without saying and I would think most of if not all members here would already know that. It's not all about traffic though. There is bonuses to consider, softer competition etc etc.

1. Which game type you play?
NL MTT's or multi-table SnG

2. Which limit do you play?
Microlimit tourneys up to 10$ byuins

3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up?
Full ring or short handed, either way

4. How much do you play?
I am restricted to the time of ca. 09:00-14:30 CET on weekdays only, playing at least 3 out of 5 every week.

5. How many tables do you want to play?
Comfortable with 4 tabling MTT

6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months?
Situated in Denmark, so restricted choice of rooms. Need a site with not too much traffic as I need to be finished by 14:30 most days, so 3-5 hours for normal micro-tourneys from start to finish which probably means PS is out of the question.

Never had much luck with cash games, which would suit me better timewise, so looking for something like 888 used to be when I could play there, with at most 2-500 players per tourney.

My initial capital is roughly $200, so FDB isn't a big factor as I'll never clear any significant amount of it playing the micros.

My aim for the next few months is getting back in the game (away about 2 years), slowly building a bankroll while reading up on the latest literature and regaining my playing focus.

Any thoughts?

1. Which game type you play? (No limit? Sit & Go? MTT? PLO, Fixed Limit, Other?)

No Limit Cash

2. Which limit do you play? (example: NL25, SNG $11, FL .50/1)

NL25 - NL50

3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up?

SH

4. How much do you play? (e.g. I play 3 hours a week, or I generate $1000 rake/month)

Roughly 3 hours per day, sometimes longer. Have generated between $1500 to $2000 rake at Stars this month.

5. How many tables do you want to play?

6-10

6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months?

I would like to take advantage of some of the first deposit bonuses and promotions out there. Just looking for best value in terms of $ to grind out for a couple of months before moving back to Stars.

I'm currently signed up to;

Stars
Full Tilt
Party Poker
Betfair

I also have betting accounts only with Will Hill and Ladbrokes so not sure what the situation with their poker rooms is regarding first deposit bonuses.

Would like to play somewhere with half decent software if possible, but I suppose anything is going to be hard to get used to after Stars. Also being able to use HEM1 with a HUD is a must.

Have looked at the poker rooms on here and it seems Ladbrokes might be my best bet given their loyalty bonus and RB offer, does anyone know if I can sign up for a poker account through here or if it's too late now I've got a betting account?

Thanks for any answers!

Join Unibet or 24h Poker they are part of the same network as Ladbrokes is and they give 30% instant rb where Ladbrokes gives 10% rb

Edit: Also Ladbrokes around June will move to Ipoker

1. Which game type you play? (No limit? Sit & Go? MTT? PLO, Fixed Limit, Other?) NLH MTTs

2. Which limit do you play? (example: NL25, SNG $11, FL .50/1) $1-$5 MTTs playing off a small roll at the moment

3. Short handed or full ring tables, or even Heads-Up? Full ring but will play 6-max tournies. Will play rebuys, $1-$3.

4. How much do you play? (e.g. I play 3 hours a week, or I generate $1000 rake/month) 2 sometimes 3 sessions per week up to 8 hours per session

5. How many tables do you want to play? up to 6

6. What are your goals for the next 3+ months? play as many MTTs as I can in time allowed within bankroll to gain experience and try out new coaching strategy.

I currently play an ipoker skin for their unique reward scheme, league, and community boards.

I also play Lucky Ace for soft tables and low-stakes tourneys $3 and under.

I play two weekday evenings with occasional weekend evening.

When my roll grows I want to peel some off and try either Party/PKR/Ongame/Sky. I look for smaller fields under 1k, with soft tables.

Thanks

Hi!

I am considering to move to another poker room, but not sure if it would be affordable to me.. Currently I am playing at Poker770 and am very satisfied with the software, traffic, field etc. I play NL4 and NL10 SH, Speed (probably will stay at NL10 only). I play 3-4 tables, 1-2 hours a day on average.

What bothers me is can I get more rakeback and additional value in some other poker room? I know that on these limits rakeback isn't that big issue, but dollar by dollar, it can be a decent bankroll boost.

I currently use only their $10 Reload Bonuses. To buy it, I need to collect 3500 Points770, which is, according to my Iron status (100% boost), $70 of rake. To release it, I need 750 Points770, which is $30 of rake. If we assume that I will use those releasing Points770 for another $10 Reload Bonus, my calculation is that at the end I get 14,3% of rakeback.

Can I get more additional value somewhere else or there is no point in changing the room?

Thank you!
