Quick update
Poker
Its been only couple of days in April but I had about 700$ downswing in 3 days. I seem to be loosing a lot of money in super turbos on ongame, I am still profitable on turbo 22s and 33s as well as 5.5$ .
I talked tonight to my coach and staker, tomorrow we will do brief review but we basically decided that I switch to 22s and 33s exclusively on Ongame. There are several reasons I will just list some of them:
- I have more edge in turbos then super turbos on Ongame
- I think in the long run both 22s and 33s are beatable with positive roi on Ongame couple %
- The games are reg infested but that is unfortunately only way that I will rake 200$ a day goal
I also spoke to Gavron and he mentioned that he rakes far more than 200$ a day playing 22 33 and 54 exclusively 6 hours a day.
I am very unhappy that I have to play 9 hours to rake 200$ it sucks bad. I want to keep my grind to 6-7 hours top, rake 200$ and have time for sessions with students, fitness bike, time to work on my game etc. Grinding 8-9 hours would drastically change my approach since traffic on Ongame really starts from 6pm on + 11s are TOTALLY DEAD traffic wise and it isn't worth wasting time and winrate on 5.5 for me now.
So yeah, all in all, I got about 2200$ to rake until 24th of April to clear FDB of 1500$. In order to accomplish that I will do 22s and 33s exclusively, if some 11 comes up great. I will also play on Ipoker 11s exclusively in the 1st session (3 to 5pm).
My session times will be roughly as following
1st session 3 to 5pm
2nd session 6 to 8:30pm
3rd session 9pm to 00 or 00:30
This is ideal schedule for me as I can go to bed at 2pm latest ,get up at 9:30 drive bike shower eat good breakfast do a session with student at 12 to 1 1:30pm then work on my game and start with 1st session! In between sessions I eat snack meals (tomato salad and drink bunch of water).
Obviously is this is very hard core schedule but I do this for past 2 months or so and it works for me. Time with friends family is sacrificed but while I am in the stake coaching program I will give all my time to poker. When I will be on my own I will randomly decide when to take days off and meet up with friends, go out etc. This is why trips outside of Serbia work great for me because I just grind and then go to new place recharge batteries to grind again!
Don't get me wrong, I also take days off in the program. For example today coach came for visit I played like 10-15 games total today, we just hanged played some PES or NBA in the end some HU for fun
Yesterday my cousin came from Montenegro to my town Nis, I played only 1st session and went out for some billiards and party , came home at 5 am with some new digits from hot Serbian girls ... ♦
So program is flexible there are days off but volume that is set must be met as simple as that. I am very motivated and goal driven , I also want best for myself and set my goals really high. My coach never set me 200$ to rake daily. That was my and only my goal and now after 10-15 days playing on Ongame I see that something must be changed to meet it. That adjustment is 11,22 and 33 turbo exclusively, all hypers out!
Fitness
Good news ! In last 10 days or so I lost 2 kilos
I have been cycling bike every day, started 2 days with 3x5 minutes, then 2 days 15 mins, 3 days 20 minutes 2 days 25 minutes and today 30 minutes. I will keep driving bike, eating well and hopefully loosing weight will continue to happen. I can say that I have more energy to grind after driving fitness bike, eating healthy food also helps me I don't feel tired during sessions my concentration is better so overall this is very +EV move to do.
If any of you is wondering whether or not to go for it, I say JUST DO IT and stick to it. I told Gerovit that he can keep 100 euros if I miss a single day of cycling 20 minutes at least!!! Suggest you find someone you trust and do the same thing because you will be motivated to sustain in the whole lifelong project to live healthy lifestyle.
That is all for this update, see you at the tables and happy to see many of you are following blog!
