PokerStars - $6.48+$0.52|150/300 Ante 25 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 3 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 2,435
Hero (BTN): 2,205
SB: 4,360

3 players post ante of 25, SB posts SB 150, BB posts BB 300

Pre Flop: (pot: 525) Hero has 5♦ J♣

fold, fold

Spoiler

SB mucks A♠ A♣ ()
BB shows J♦ 8♦ ()
BB wins 375

Two unknowns from Ukraine, each of them played 3 SnGs total. They did play suspiciously, but in all seriousness what the hell is this? How can anyone be this stupid?

My guess is that BB was not in on this, and SB just decided to help his countrymen out and showing it: "Hey look, I folded AA for you. High five!". This is just too weird for collusion.

Which brings me to this. Why is country shown in the first place? It only creates trouble.

It's not as if it's a 25c SNG either. It's $7 so I would insta e-mail Stars support and get this dude banned because he deserves it.

I've reported players before and PokerStars handled it amazingly. Better to get this guy off the tables!

Really? I mean yeah its a $7 SnG, but they've both only played 3 SnG, obviously recreational players who don't know any better, I don't think they deserve to get banned over it.

Ofc not, doesn't seem like SB knew that what he's doing is wrong so he'd just get a warning and reminder of the rules which is needed here so he wouldn't continue doing such things.

Yeah, I reported them, obviously. Wouldn't be the first ones to be banned due to my report.

What I was saying is that, they probably didn't organize this (especially BB didn't play like he was in on the sham) and that the SB was pulled to doing stupid things after he found out the other guy was his countryman.

What's the point of showing the country in the first place? Seems that only negative things can come out of it.

Online poker doesn't have the the fun feel of seeing and talking with other players and ambiance of a casino. I think lots of recreational players may find this feature useful and may somehow influence them to keep playing especially if they meet new friends or fellow countrymen. To us, of course we don't mind since we mostly care purely about the game.

Regarding this collusion case, stars knows how to handle these players, so of course you did the right thing.

Hey Akcus,

I would insist that you stay on topic in the future and do not start pointless arguements for no reason.

We like to keep the forums a peaceful and happy place so I would appreciate if you could keep your comments to yourself.

If you cannot do this, we will have to re-think your rights to post on our forum.

Regards,
Gary

A weird fold can also be a miss click.
I have miss clicked KK before.
Country of origin may as well be an optional thing in your table set up.
It does help when you think about the time of day or night they are playing.
It's good to bag out an opponent from your country using words or slang only they would understand though.
It gives it a more homely feel, rather than the standard donk or fish comments.
Reads on a persons country is as valuable as read on peoples choice of photo on a site like pokerstars.
Dog and baby photos scream recreational player to me.
Peace.

Knew it.

Just because they had only played 3 games didn't mean any thing. If you hadn't reported them they would have carried on and on and on!

Well played PokerStars :)

Hey, it is sng tournament right? He is a chip leader, sometimes it is a reasonable play to just steal blinds next hand with any 2. :)
