Flop: (4 SB) 2:h, 8:d, 9:c (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, MP3 checks, CO checks.

Turn: (2 BB) 5:d (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, MP3 folds, CO calls, SB folds.

River: (4 BB) Q:d (2 players)

Question: How to play this hand ?

On the flop check is the bast option in my opinion. If nobody bet this flop I see my hand as the best one. That's why I bet. Card on the river is one of the worst possible and I play c/c.

I think is definitely -EV to fold 84 as standard, it means fold all 5x too assuming you would bet those on the Turn, value bet a 5x ... maybe, c/c ... does he bluffs >= 1:6 with missed gutshots or pure bluff ? maybe

You should already bet the flop. SB checked. You are ahead of him. MP and CO have wide limpingranges with, to be honest, some hands that have good outs against your hand. QJ JT QT but you are the favourite with probably the best equity at that point so donk the flop right away and don't miss out the chance to at least kick one of your opponents. As played bet Turn is fine and River is a check/call for me too. Q sucks but there are still some other busted Draws like T7 x6 x7 and worse madehands he'd bet with, even though it makes no sense but peoples plays are frequently pointless
