Recently I have been reading some Tradimo articles. I want to focus on mid/long-term equity investments since I'm relatively cash rich (75% of my assets are in my bank account) and I have not been putting my money to good use.

I have mostly been reading the stock investment articles so far, and i must say that I have managed to grasp the basic content with much ease. I'm glad my studies at Business School wasn't useless ;) My main gripe with Finance modules in school was that they were mostly theoretical and didn't really give practical advice so I'm hoping that that will change from reading Tradimo stuff.

First goal: To read every single article available for basic status members.
Second goal: Research 5 solid blue-chip companies in the SGX and buy them

I'll think of more goals later. Since I'm leaving Singapore in about a week's time, I'll have to do all of these during my trip.

Well I ended my exams yesterday and I did ok given the amount of effort I put in. I guess I can consider myself having graduated and I'm officially treating myself as a full-time poker pro.

I played for 5.5 h today, which is much less than I wanted. Still left with 20k VPPs from my target of reaching 200k VPPs before leaving on the 12th of May. I think it's pretty much impossible to achieve that now so I'll just try to do so by 14 May instead.

Patrick also asked me to produce some gold videos which I should be doing tomorrow. Maybe I'll make 2 live videos and 1 theory video on betting vs checking.

Progress for the month so far
I'm up almost 5k over 20k hands. Pretty decent start I must say. I won 4k today and these days I feel like I'm a notch above the typical NL500 reg. I hope I can continue running well and crushing all those guys.

Ah exams, I remember those. :)

Congratulations on finishing them, not everybody can do that as well as a lot of other 'distractions', you must be very focused. _cool:

Good luck with the trading as well, definitely not my forte.

I would highly recommend reading The Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham to develop a good investing mindset.

thanks everyone! tomorrow I leave for Europe.

@Manu: Are u in Austria in june?

Poker for the past few days
I had a bit of motivational issues. Slept at some crazy timing which I suppose is fine because I have to readjust to the European time zone anyway. I had a super nice upswing followed by a 4.5k downswing in today's 3 hour session. Made one nice suicidal bluff which worked but spewed away 2 buy-ins.

Bad News
Singapore government may be clamping down on Online Gambling.

Hands

1. Really spewy play but I was thinking hard on why he didn't jam the River. I figured he was either valuebetting an Ace or that he was trying to bluff more cheaply. I'm virtually never bluffing here so I went for it

Pics are great, but I see no trolls. I've heard that Iceland is the only place with more trolls than forums
