Question: When I 4-bet against this smallish stack, should it just be a shove?

I've recently seen a few players flatting KK after a 4-bet so I do wonder if that A on the flop scares him off. Obviously he didn't have AK or QQ, so that's why I think he has KK.

Hello,

Yeah, just ship it preflop.

On the flop I don't mind checking.

On the turn I think we could check again, since we do have less than pot size bet and we could put the money in on the river.

Yep, I agree with the shove pre.

As played, say if I checked again on the turn as you say and he tries to take a small stab at the pot, would you just check shove here? Or just call his turn bet and hope he gets it in by the river?

If he takes a small stab here on the turn I would be much more willing to call here and check/call the river.

The thing is that if he has a hand that he's going to call us with on the turn, he is likely to put the money in on the river himself.
