V this villain I think flat is ok.
If you 3bet I think you have to call shove so if not flatting I think probably 3bet shove

shove, u r oop and cant really out play him that shallow he is problay calling shove with smthing like AQ+(AJ/AT),77+(55-66) and folding KQ,KJ,JT,AT,AJ etc from his opening range so imo best is to shove in this spot

So, You dont have flating range here (cos we are on SB? what if we are on BB)?
You just ship ~99+, AQ+ and fold rest?

i just ship wider ;) if he is folding 50%++ of his open range in this spot when we ship (which i think he is folding) imo we have unexploitable shove with wide range smth like any2 broadway, PP,Axs+,AT+

i cnat figure out math right now cos i'm playing but here is formula so find the ranges yourself

(%they fold)*($ in the pot) + (%they call)* [(%your EQ in the hand vs his calling range)*(total pot)-($$ you invested in pot)

Consider you stack shove is best.
You don´t get correct odds to hit set, against overpairs you´re likely have to c/c again+ you see hands that would b/f pre-flop to see flop in position and take away if they don´t improve.

For example he opens KQ (that he would likely fold to shove), flop is AT4 and you would c/f flop. If you were 30bb+ deep and you don´t want to 3-bet/fold pre-flop then call is fine.

best regards,

just shove it.

Its a perfect re-steal spot, you are in the blinds , have 25bbs and you get called by lots of worse hands.

From Pokerstove:

7% = 88+,ATs+,KTs+,AQo+

As a result, 99 (and in fact, every pair) would seem like a shove.

Hi chenny888,
but 7% from Pstove is a little stiff range. I think he wolud rather OR something like AJo than KTs imo.
Besides I would give him a wider range in spite of a 7% at ~ 100 hands.
77+,A9s+,KTs+,QTs+,JTs,ATo+,KQo (~11%) or
77+,ATs+,KJs+,QJs,AJo+,KQo (~9%)

ICMizer
You have to change the 'output' to chipEV ( and calculate it again) cos something is wrong with the link.

Its looks like TT+, AK :f_confused:

Think shoving every pair would be bad.

It doesn't matter to us whether he's raising KTs or AJo. 99 has no blockers against either, and they are folding when we go all-in.

It depends on his call range. Here, however, 99 is the same as 22 for all intents and purposes: literally the only hand it matters for is that when we have 99, we are chopping when he raise/calls us with 99.

I just ran the numbers. Keeping his call range of 99+ AQ+ static: if he raises 11% we can definitely shove this hand. If he raises 9%, folding is better than shoving.
