MP3, 27/22/3bet 5,9/ Fvs3bet 100/Steal 57%/ Cbet 100, 85hands
:club: Without 3b/4b history with Villain ( I played ~17/12/3bet 5% on this table) we 3bet/call 99 in these spot? Or 3b/c something like TT+, AK, flat 99/AQ/AJs/KQs and 3b/fold some blokers like AT/KJ/QJ/JTs or 77/88/T9s/98s ?
:club: Postflop imo std, peel 1street, check back with showdown value.

I 3bet pre here, villain is raise folding a lot.
As played, i agree call on flop, check behind.
I maybe bet river once its checked to me but again check behind is good

i prefer calling pre vs this guy vs 3 betting cos blinds can sqz and we can 4bet AI
on flop call or raise is ok, as played defently bet turn to protect EQ and value from draws ch behind riever

Hi,

I would also prefer 3-betting pre-flop.
As played: I would take bet turn for value, check back river line rather than check it down. he can c/c turn worse hands and you should also protect against overcards.

best regards,

Hi all,

I think both calling (damn soft field, lower variance play) and 3bet/getting it in preflop (equity edge vs his RFI and 4bet ranges) are fine. Postflop I play the same: we valuetown ourselves a bit too much if we are constantly betting turn in this spot.

Thx chenny,
But what range ( approximately, on that position, ~30bb deep vs this V.) would You:
- call
- 3b/call
- 3b/fold , here?

TT+ AQ+ seems good enough to 3bet/call.

Flat with 77-99, ATs-AJs, AJo, KQs and KQo. I think vs this range you can probably profitably call QJs, JTs and KJs too.

3bet/fold ATo, KJo, KQo, QJo. If you haven't been 3betting much, also include some worse Axo and KTo/QTo.
