This past weekend was almost the end of me...quite literally. I went out to visit my boys in the suite that I used to live with before I got kicked out, keep in mind I have been sober for almost 4 months now.

I get there, they are all pumped to see me, yo tonight is going to be the best night of your life, we going to get so fucked up etc etc. So we start drinking in the suite, then go get high, after that we get to a frat house and a drink a bottle of rum between 5-6 of us. After that we get to a sorority house and I remember playing some pong.....

And then I wake up at the hospital at 5am in my boxers, thinking where the fuck am I and how did I end up here. I look around for one of those "call the nurse buttons" and can't find it on my bed so I peak around the corner and am like "excuse me, may I go to the bathroom?" Some nurse comes running over, gives me some pants and off to the bathroom I go. Then I am like "So when can I leave and what time is it? She is like it's 5am and whenever you get a ride.

I then call my friends and then lay around all day feeling hungover but at least still alive :)

Last night was fabolous....

Went out to the bar in town which is located next to the gym I used to work out at. The crowd was quite interesting, a mix of a lot of old people and few people roughly my age. I got free drinks all night, had some lady I dont even know buy me 2 beers. Ended the night taking like 4 shots that my step sisters bf or friend or whoever he was bought me. Got home, chugged 2 bottles of water, ate some chicken and went to sleep around 4-5am. This morning woke up at 8am feeling great as ever.

Haha I'm sorry, blame it on the good kush and alcohol, I got some bad bitches I can call.

But seriously I took a small break from poker for two weekends and was kind of inactive here or my Skype groups. Two weekends ago I took a trip with some friends to see bassnectrar, it was great. Me and my boy brought back two girls to the hotel room etc.

Then I have been getting into golfing lately so been practicing that a bit and then this past weekend, we went to visit my friends friend at a college he used to go to and was supposed to see rusko. Partied all weekend, then Saturday get into the concert, lose my friend within seconds and this kid I met was like yo Man U want to go meet up with some girls. I obv don't reject, anyway we meet up with them and go back to the apartment. I'm just chilling being a dj playing music off my phone. The girls decide they don't want to go to rusko and the one I was going after starts like legit freaking out that she is not rolling on Molly and everyone else is, huge turn off I'm like whatever I'm still gonna try to hook up with her. Ask her to go for a walk and she just continues being annoying, I'm like ok whatever and just go get high and decided if she calms down I will try again.

They end up leaving, I just get high with the guys and go pass out. 5am comes around, these 3 dudes that we met break into the apartment one of them naked, apparently jumped on top of my boy thinking it was his friend and then the other dude in the room got really pissed and kicked them all out and pushed the naked dude over the table haha. I didn't really wake up that much and next day had a bad pain in my lower back, pretty sure one of them stepped on me Cus I was sleeping in a sleeping bag on the floor and I was too fucked up to feel it.

Currently browsing the web on my phone since my sleep schedule is a little messed up due to having to sacrifice some sleep to the grind. Sometimes the best games are running at most odd times. The grind this month has been very interesting. I have learned some stuff a out myself and perhaps got my mindset a little bit better.

I have seen a lot of motivational vids in my day and in a lot of them the word sacrifice is used, I feel like I have done that several times this month, girl hit me up wanted me to come visit and I told her I couldn't make it, my friend hit me up the other day to play golf, told him I couldn't make it either as much as I would have liked to attend both events. Idk how I feel about my decision but I guess what had to be done is done. I will try to mix in some activities I enjoy but I wanted to get back my work ethic and get back in the habbit of grinding.

I will definitely post a month graph once I'm done. One thing I have been trying to teach myself and apply every session is that there is no such thing as downswing or upswing, I'm just trying to make the best decision possible in the current hand I'm in. It's really hard to be at that stage because I'm a human but I would like to say I'm getting better.

And lastly I will be working on some new vids for ps in the upcoming days so hopefully you guys will get to see them sometime next month since they got to be reviewed and all of that good stuff first.

Thanks for the support guys, it really helps and definitely means a lot. This month has been pretty frustrating for sure, 228 hours in and being a rb pro is definitely frustrating, it also sucks that I have ran the worst at the highest stake I have been playing which is 600nl. It's definitely true that the biggest test in poker is when you are in a downswing. I thought I would make a list of things I would like to work on more as I have just become a grinding machine this month and have spent very little time studying with my other reg friends. Also partly because we have way different time schedules and the times they are on, everyone at my house is sleeping.

A) Study more ldo.
1) Put in more time in to figure out my cbet ranges and my x/r ranges on the flop. I feel like the game has evolved quite a lot to where people are starting to cbet way less because people are just so much better at floating and playing back now. However I don't think many regs have spent much time studying/doing the math behind this and are really unbalanced besides like the sicko regs so I would like to stay ahead of the curve.
2) Also need to work more on my x/r ranges, I mean this play has been around for a while now but I want to do more work on what turns to continue with what range and what range to give up etc instead of making it up on the spot.
3) Try to become less emotionally attached, even more so then I am now. Sometimes I can't help myself but to think wtf why don't I deserve to ever suck out with A3s when I 5bet jam and then try to force the action 3b/5b at 600nl or w/e or end up spewing a stack to a guy that never folds in a 3bet pot and so on. So yea I want to cut down my aggression.
4) Put in more time into defending 3bets, coming up with a solid 4bet range and making good adjustments in game.
5) Do more work on x back spots, like what size I want to be betting on what board when flop goes check check, I think there are some spots I want to overbet and some I went to bet small but I need to figure out why and where.
6) Continue grinding hard, putting in the work over the summer and I know it will pay off. I think I'm on the verge of breaking through the plateau I was at for a long time due to talking to some very good players and spending time grinding and constantly thinking about the game. Having more aha moments, understanding how to play my range a bit better in a balanced way. I think if I just put in a lot of time into studying the things I need to study I will consistently crush mid-stakes. I mean that's my goal and I'm pretty determined to make it happen. My biggest problem with this is that I'm not very good at statistics or math so sometimes I don't understand why something is correct or how very good regs come up with certain ranges so I'm trying to learn so I can understand why certain spots are played the way there and get better at this game.

Anyway that's it for now, It got way longer than I expected but I'm happy I made this post to remind myself about spots I struggle with and could do some work in. I was doing a sweat recently with a friend, and he told me something along the lines of that from working with Jared Tendler, he learned that it's good to have uncertainty in certain situations, it means that you haven't reached your full potential and that your brain is indeed think and analyzing on how to play a certain situation better.

Also guys,

I'm working on few vids atm, one of the vids I want to make is a review of hhs by ps members. I made a thread in general poker, so if you could post some hands in there with some stats and some reads that you would difficult and interesting would be great. I will try my best to answer all hands even if I don't include in video.

And fingers crossed for one time tomorrow. Going to be playing some donkaments. I mean flipaments. _cool:
