Just finished 1k 60/100 9/18s mini challenge.
It was nice experience, I am happy about it because of many things. Thx to the bounties and again weird calcs in HEM2, numbers dont match at all, am not gonna post graph, but numbers from cashier or so.

So my plan was to use 4k roll and play ONLY 60s/100s 9mans, w/e speed or KO and 60s 18mans. I knew traffic sucks, but I was goin to use new HM2, new HUD, new screen, have my eyes on every table, focus on A game and try to beat the game preRB.
I started nicely, thn dropped half of the shot roll, but felt very good, didnt tilt, didnt care about the money = huge succes for me, I made solid step in one year from 15s thru WSOP to 60/100s online and now 60s feels like 15s year ago, at 100s I can tell I do care a bit about flips if I win or not ♦ Thn I binked nice heater 6k in 200 games. Thn again 3k down, up, down and basically BE the last 600 games.
Fastly realized afternoon traffic is ridicoulously bad and gave that time to my daughter, enjoyed spring, sun and played only at evenings = 20,00-24,00 or so. Even thn I was like 10 tabling. I didnt table select almost, only dropped the ugliest 18mans...so 2 randoms in 9man standard, 5 randoms in 18man...ugly. If I would like to tableselect by more strict rules, I would maybe 6table :/
9mans seems to be really my game, I go consistently up. 18s are swingy as hell, I am more like low ROI player, RB is nice, but that s not goal.
OK so I know it is not veryy efficient to play only these games. I had one table runnin way to often and so on.

Anyway, played:
488 60 18mans
35 100 9man REG
73 100 9man TURBO
144 60 9man REG or KO i guess
260 60 9man TURBO

ABI was 64,32$

Played 102 hours.

Made 3561$ from games = 5,5% ROI and 35$/hour
Plus about 1800RB (count only fpps value, stellar i got and 100 bop, no futuer value in milestones) = 8,3% ROI and 53$/hour.

Considering low tabling am super happy.

I feel that 9mans are beatable, 18mans are gettin tougher imo, too many regs, more flippin/variance, but not sure. I will be playin 9mans to any stake I can afford in future for sure. I will change 18m for fifty50 for a while, for change and challenge

I am very positive about my game, I did losen up a lot, studied a lot, learned a lot, loved playin top regs, SNEs. Sometimes I felt edge.

OK...now break, today goin for a weekend to ZPT once again after year = poker mecheche, 28 players, 2 day marathon of live sngs/party/bowling. Meetin lot of friends there and lot of great players. Few poker pros, WSOP, EPT and so on players, SM winners, Czehc Poker TOur winners, HS cash game players and other great guys (all Czech). It s always fun and interesting.

how do you identify the regs?do you use some software?i believe you use sharkscope to search them.you search them after a session?and how many regs do you think are max for a 9 man 7$ and 15$?

reviewing your game:
do you make notes during the play?do you review only your marked hands?how can i review a regs mistakes so i can exploit them?

Thanx a lot! I know u play 9mans for a while I am 100% positive 9mans arent dead or w/e u hear here and there from some "experts" lol.
For identifyin regs - when I see that I have like few hundred hands on a player I didnt have marked as reg and he has regish stats, I do SS search, check his volume/profit and based on that and if I consider him solid, I mark him as reg...I have few other colors for different types of reg, but I wont go thru that. I search em usually in the session, coz last months I didnt notice many new facs, so it s like 1 search a day or so
How many regs per table? At 60/100 I was OK with only 2 random players. Some kind of RB is significant there, so it should be OK, to have lower ROI there...and also if u would like to table select more, u would have no tables at all LOL. 30s I would like 3randoms+, 7-15s I would like 4-5 randoms at the table. I believe at 7/15s it shouldnt be about RB, but if u go for some hourly and thats your main goal, u might take tables with more regs if u like that, but I dont...I think at 7/15s u should focus on improvin your game mostly...but that s just my opinion, many guys goin for hourly hourly hourly will disagree.
Notes I almost dont make, I think I am very efficient usin HUD. I do review marked hands plus I do review whole STT here and there, good warmup. If u wanna exploit regs, use good HUD stats and learn to work with it. I did in past some analyzes on few regs I was meetin every day, I did filter in HEM showdown hands for some scenarios and tried to narrow their ranges as much as I could but recently I think it is waste of time Use HUD, use stats, learn what stats u can use and how and thn apply it.

yeah i have to put some more useful stats in my HUD.i believe you have stats filtered after the numbers of players right?

i am really surprised that you base so much on stats.i thought at higher limits is all about making notes :).

Well, surprisnigly am experimenting with filtering stats based on the stacksizes. And notes...I was always sayin this - fish is a fish, why do u wanna make note about fish calling 3 barrells with bottom pair OOP,60BBs deep, 8players bla bla...waaaste of time, so fish, mark fish, dont care more, just check stats - lose/passive, monkey wild or? Regs - reg is a reg until u get to know each other better...thn there are few that notice u and play back, few that give a *** ♦ and few that have some weird tendencies - all of that u cac see by stats if u take the right ones, plus u have some colors, u remember the guy, also sometimes it s all about one session dynamic...really, there aint many regs that gives me much trouble...no offense, but it is connected to this - many of em at 60+ goin for SNE and have so many tables and so many different formats, they just stick to abc.
And thn it s all about not playin unexploitable against these "easier" regs

Hey guys, few updates.

For this month I dropped 60s, dropped 18mans and am concentratin on games I think I can make highest ingame profit. So am playin lot of nonturbo 30$ 9mans, 30$ fifty50, tableselectin in turbo 9mans, all KOs runnin and fillin tables with some 15s KOs, also mostly nonturbos. Increased tabling a bit from last month to about 15tabling, playing like 50 games per 3hr session or sometin like that.
For 9mans, notin to say, it s my A game and when u find good fishy table it is yummy. For fifty50 I believe well selected table with few fish is also goldmine with decent strategy. I was always impressed by lot of diff aproaches from regish guys to these games. Many of these aproaches I consider almost stupid, so am tryin to exploit that...
So far am makin 3$ per game plus extra 1$ from RB, so am not complainin. I think 2$ per game is a must at this limit. Will see in a month how it goes, how about hourly, RB and so on, will decide if I put in some 60-100s nice 9m games or fifty...

Takin weekend off, visitin parents and so on, always nice...also paid for summer holiday in Slovakia, cant wait

Recently I ddnt see any movies I remember, but check FIREFLY series, it has only 14 or so episodes and was shut down, but it is awesome...americans dont have taste I guess :/
Big dissapointment is new series of Game of Thrones, just 4th episode was epic.
Also checkin DEFIANCE, new sci-fi series, but after somewat nice pilot it is becomin bad/borin like all the other sci-fi postapocalyptic tries lately...

You ll have to check SS. Graphs in HEM1/2 are totally off for KOs, so I dont even follow these graphs. Dont follow EV few months. I do update excel sheet after every session and that s workin nicely for me.

For HEM results - i had lot of versions of HEM1 and 2 and also lot of databases. Once I was gettin nice KO results but ridicoulous EV, thn I had bad KO normal speed but somewhat fine turbos and so on LOL. Few months I had workin HM1 database that did track everytin okish, but again at some day bammm and it started doin bugs. For the EV...I dont know, never knew, fortunately enough I wasnt tiltin ever or cryin too much and usually ran under EV, so I somewhat believed it, but when I started playin KOs and started usin math on my own I am 100% sure KOs arent ever calculated correctly by HEM, I did mention easy example many times - U are in the spot when you shoved into one opponent and u cover him = u ll win the bounty if u knock him. But u lose. HEM has no idea that there was possible bounty therefore expectations from that "flip" were higher. I am not followin EV from summe rlast year when I started playin fifty50 and 18mans. I did check cEV stats in moments of sick downer just to confirm my runbad with some numbers. Now I mostly feel how I played, what setups were in my session, did I have good cards? And I somehow feel the expectation, so when I check results I am sometimes surprised ♦

EV - I know that for beginnin or lets say not so experienced player it is important to correct himself by some stats. Like if u run bad and u r not sure if u really just run bad, u check EV. BUT believe me the best u can do when u run bad for some time is to focus on study more and more. Get a coach for few hours if u like that or spend hours and hours in programs, talk with friends, play different format for a while, mix it up. BUT really, never stop studyin. IMO my downer 175bis or so at the end of the year was because of that - I did mix formats/buyins. Didnt have time to study, increased tabling, wasnt havin fun at the tables, was stressed - ok, i ran terribly under cEV, wasnt winnin HUs and so on...but when I look back, I was playin regfested games, tryin to rake, mixed lot of things together with high tabling...not the best combination for variance killing So now if I had bad streak for few weeks I ll definitely drop tables, focus on one format, tableselect, enjoy life...but I hope I wont cry about EV ever more, it s relaxin

TableNinja 2 - no, please no...

IMO one of the worst news for a while...like HM2 it ll be disaster for a while, TN 1 will stop workin after 01/08/2013 and cherry on top, TN2 costs 20/mont 150/year - gratz. If it ll again take a week to make new update after updating PokerStars, thn it s just...ahhh...but we all gonna buy it anway, so...or maybe PS will finally improve their soft to the level better thn TN and I think they are close to it...

I think the business model of paying per month/year is the optimal way to go for poker software and I can really see why they're going for that. And I can't really understand why it wasn't done with HM2 release.

But with that said $150 a year is pretty pricey for a software that is in a competition with some "freeware" hot-keys programs (at least those existed last time I checked :)) I'm highly expecting some other program to get a lot of their market share if they keep up that price. But I think it's highly likely that we'll see 20% off codes flying around everywhere...

And yea Firefly is the best series ever made.
Let me know if DEFIANCE is any good... I'e stopped trying to watch these new sci-fi series...

Indeed it s a bit ambitious price, I do understand that they like money, but comeon...

Speakin of which. I just wanted to load session and bam, HM2 aint working. So I check forum, see there are lot of guys with same problem, everyone s sendin email to supposrt, log files and support is givin me only answer like "we get your message, allow us up to 24 hours bla bla bla". This is tough business, support of companies doin sometin like that must work perfectly and super quickly because everyone using these programs knows the value of their time - hourly. So ruinin someones schedule with soft issues is always kinda pissy...With HM2 there were already like million issues, ok, we used to it. With TN there are always like few days at least after every update of poker client. There were issues goin on for months with bad sensei registering and so on...
So please, PokerStars, tune the shortscuts/bet sizing/registering to maximum and we ll be all happiest ever
