wonder if this is a valid idea

here is the place for you to post these hands where you just SNAP and do something even knowing that you shouldn't do it. :f_biggrin:
can be a bad bluff, bad valuebet, bad calldown, whatever. whether it worked or not is irrelevant, it can be entertaining either way.

PokerStars - $0.25 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 111.4 BB
SB: 236.08 BB
BB: 157.92 BB
Hero (UTG): 129.56 BB
MP: 123.16 BB
CO: 60 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has 7♦ 7♣

Hero raises to 3.4 BB, fold, fold, BTN raises to 10.6 BB, fold, fold, Hero calls 7.2 BB
villain unknown playing 4 tables

Flop: (22.6 BB, 2 players) 4♦ 9♣ 6♦
Hero checks, BTN bets 12 BB, Hero calls 12 BB

Turn: (46.6 BB, 2 players) 5♦
Hero checks, BTN checks

River: (46.6 BB, 2 players) 5♣
Hero checks, BTN bets 23 BB, Hero raises to 106.96 BB and is all-in, BTN requests TIME, fold

Hero wins 88.44 BB

should just fold flop oop when his range is super likely to be nutted, river is also questionable because who knows wtf level these nl25 regs are thinking on.
btw i wanted to check/shove this turn which is also spewy :f_biggrin:

[edit: idea was conceived here, since it's been a while i'm opening this :P]

Not rly because of that, it's just that he's never bluffing in that spot and you have no equity :) If he had nothing he'd just bet the flop, not this :)

Well... More than a little :f_biggrin:

Always sucks when you feel like you're making an awesome bluff (which turns out to be terrible in hindsight) and the guy turns over the nuts :(

The big $55, $80k gtd on stars.

Recently moved to this new table.Villain was nitty over 9 hands. I expect his range to be big overcards, eg AK, and also small pairs which he will fold to pressure.
