I check called the flop because the bet was so small. The terrible bet size makes me think this villain doesn't know what he's doing. If he has something I'd expect him to bet 1/2 pot to 2/3 pot or more to check. He has to have a 4 or 7 in his hand and this is unlikely.
When a 4 appears on the turn and he bets..again small for the pot size I called thinking what are the odds he has a full house? Unlikely that' he'd have a single 4 or 7 in his hand... so he'd have to have quads..again...unlikely.
When the 9 hit on the river and he went all in I thought he's basically representing quads but his bad betting his telling me his a fish...or he has 99. He could have JJ or QQ but that would just be unfortunate for me. Finally I'm putting in 1.07 to win 1.97...
Should I have folded here?
