PokerStars players prepare - the site is about to finally hit the 100 billionth hand milestone.

The road to 100 billion: we've arrived!

In total, $2 million is being given away to players for this massive milestone!

The first milestone hand is #99,700,000,000 and every millionth hand until #100,000,000,000 (300 hands) will reward all players in the hand with cash prizes.

The winner of the 100 billionth hand will receive at least $100,000. Thanks to the "Stake Share", all players at tables of the gametype at which the hand was dealt will be rewarded!

How much will I win in a milestone hand?

The exact amount you will receive if you are lucky enough to be dealt into (or even win) a milestone hand depends on several factors, though it is safe to say you will likely win a sum significantly larger than the average pot at your table.

Players dealt into a milestone hand win a cash prize of $75 for every VIP Player Point (VPP) they earned in the last 50 hands played on that table, including the milestone hand itself.

All players dealt in will also receive a base prize of $75, and any player that wins a portion of the main pot will get their prize doubled:

Dealt into milestone hand:
(# of VPPs in past 50 hands * $75) + $75 = Prize

Won a milestone hand:
(# of VPPs in past 50 hands * $75 + $75) * 2 = Prize

Example: BobbyFishSticks has earned 32 VPPs in the past 50 hands at the table, so he will receive $2,400 on top of his base prize of $75 - $2,475 in total. If he wins the milestone hand, he will win $4,950 in total.

How can I increase my chances of winning?

Play more tables. PokerStars allows you to play up to 24 cash game tables at once.
Play longer sessions, as milestone cash prizes are calculated by VPPs (VIP Player Points) earned.
Play more hands. Looser players accrue VPPs more rapidly, thus cash prizes will be greater.

More reasons to play at PokerStars

To celebrate this massive milestone, PokerStars are running some unprecedented promotions worth over $3 million on top of the milestone hand giveaway.

World Record tournament: June 16, $300,000 gtd
Golden Sit & Go tournaments: over $1 million extra
Zoom 100: $1m gtd Zoom tournament
Ultimate freeroll: $1 million prize pool

PokerStars' terms and conditions apply to this promotion and may be changed at any time.

Do you get a bigger part of stake share if you play more tables?

No wizo656, the more tables you play, the more chance you have of hitting the milestone hand. You don't get a bigger amount of money unfortunately.

Hi,

Do we get some kind of alert that we are in the milestone hand, or I am going to fold EP and miss out on it, cause I'm not looking at the hand numbers :)

Trust me, you'll know it if you've hit it.

The hand will pause to allow players to watch the hand if they choose too. I think the table also flashes and makes a loud noise for 5-10 seconds.

If you're in one, you'll know ;)
