Hey guys!

Apparently, todays coaching has been canceled. I wished that it was moved earlier to 11 am GMT, but eventually it has been canceled for some reason. We had a lot of this in the previous weeks, so I imagine it must be a technical issue. I will try to get to the bottom of this to avoid this in the future.

In any case, I hope it won't miraculously reappear at 15:00 gmt, as I won't be available at that time.

Sorry about this guys, hopefully we'll see each other next week!

Great coaching session today. I play about the same sng levels as the coach, and I didn't completely agree in some spots, but that's why I'm here to hear different opinions. I know my game needs improvements for higher levels, so I'm open to everything.

For example with the K7 hand in BB it would be an easy call for me (and I'd probably call even Q7). But since the coach put it in the wizard, it didn't show up so "easy call". I'd still call K7 unless I'd have stats that the guy is pushing less than 40%, because I think it's better not to assume that random unknown opponent is a fish especially at higher levels.

I'd fold Q7 now though against unknown, so I guess it pays off to attend these coaching sessions (even though this hand was pretty marginal).

Anyway, I will try to attend your coachings even in the future. GL :)

Hey, really nice to see you onboard! Thanks for the poast!

I'm glad we had this slight disagreement in the coaching, it generated some nice discussion and those are the things that move you forward with learning :)

Well, I can't argue with different opinions on what range that guy is going to shove there, but it is a fact that we need him to go 55% (hope I remember correctly) in order to be BE. In that very spot (with a big fish on our left) I'm really not a fan of taking the dubious guess-call, but we've already discussed it in the coaching :)

I think you need 80-85% from villain to be able to call Q7o, I'd never do that without solid reads. (his Nash was 60-65 I think?).

Hope to see you in future coachings!

Yeah, Q7 would be a bad call almost always. I can't remember the complete details of the hand, but I thought if opponent was pushing 40% it would be profitable with K7. Maybe it was 55 though, I don't remember for sure. Anyway I agree it depends on the opponent and what stats we have on him whether to call or not.

I'm actually for analyzing HHs, but people seemed to like those coachings less than live play for some reason :( Well, it's more "dry" stuff, so I guess I understand that.

But, I do think that it's a more effective way to learn, so I will add a HH review coaching in one of the following weeks. Next sunday, or the one after that. Would that be ok for you?

Just getting in to live coaching sessions and loved it. Being able to follow your thoughts and steps is very enlightening. Looking forward to more.

I hear you answering questions during the session - Is there a way to see those questions and ask some of my own? I see a chat box next to the video, but it was blank.

Hey!

You probably watched the recording on twitch.tv, right?

Well, unfortunately the only way to ask questions is if you are there in the coaching live. You can enter the pokerstrategy chat from here: http://www.pokerstrategy.com/coaching/
(when there is a coaching going on)

As for seeing the questions, yeah, I'll try to position the chatbox in the screen that is being recorded! I had some technical issues (Opera was not able to do such a high tech feature, so I'm running from Chrome next time :) ).

Hey suhyura!

Normally I use twitch.tv as well, so yes, the coaching is recorded, but some technical issue was up this time - no idea what, but I couldn't stream on twitch. I will ask about the problem tho, hopefully it will be fine by next time!

Very nice coaching! It may be possible during live play to have some KO 9man ST SNGs?
