Hi pleno1,

Just wondering, do you still do any studying on your own? Or nowadays you just play and coach?

Hi Pleno,

I have couple of questions, hope you will find time to respond to them all :)

I am stt sng player playing 6 max from limits 11 ,22 and 33$ euro...
I am thinking of starting 6 max cash and maybe eventually switch to it depending on win rates. My questions are as follows:

1) What is the average bb per 100 for NL50,NL100 and NL200?
2) What kind of bankroll, number of buy ins do you recommend for each limit?
3) How many tables do you play when playing 6 max cash?
4) Do you play on Stars or some other site with better rb deal?
5) How many hands do you play if you monthly grind about 150 hours + playing minimum 6 tables up to 12 ?
6) What kind of profit monthly can one expect when playing NL 50,100 or 200 ?
7) Any chance of getting access to 6 max boot camp that happened recently ? :)

Thank you for your time and look forward to your answers!

Pedja aka IvicaIliev77

Hi, Patrick! I have a question about new strategy on PS.de. Why they advise us didn't have 4b/call range on UTG & MP vs BB, but steel have 4b/folding range? Thanks

Hi pleno,

In which situation do you choose to not defend a pocket pair?

In MP vs EP?
In SB vs EP?
Versus short stack?
When the risk of squeez is high (how many %)?

Hi pleno, some questions about your last coaching:

1. 3bet sizing from blinds when BTN 3x opens. I see you almost always make it less than 3x his sizing. So they open 3BB and you make it 8BB. Why so small? I personally always make it pot+1BB OOP.
Unless there's like 4 people calling preflop (in this case not against BTN obviously), then it' doesn't make sense so make it so large cause I only valuetown myself against the nuts.

2. J9 hand at 31:00. If the board is 599JK and you have J9, why not just overbet river IP, after he check calls turn and the FD misses? He's always calling with KJ, QT, 9x and folding everything else. The only hand you get called by if you make it 2/3 pot I think is KT or KQ.

3. QJ hand at 26:30, don't you think x/f is better? I seriously doubt he is calling with anything worse. This is a very common spot, hero has medium stregth hand, OOP, and super bad card comes on the turn. Maybe you can elaborate on this some more. Ofc, if turn goes x/x, a lot of bad things can happen on the river, and you never get called by worse there.
What if you had AA and turn is blank? B/broke or b/f? Lot's of regs choose this spot to raise big their combodraws, cause how can I not fold 1 pair hands in this spot?

4. at 34:40 you quickfold A6s in SB? I would open that against anybody, and most probably 3bet it against LP open if the guy can fold more than 60% to a 3bet.

5. at 36:00 you cbet 88 on AT4s flop? I think you only get folds from worse hands (exception 99). He may call you with the gutshot or FD, but it also allows him to bluff any missed draw if you check back turn, cause you are never calling river.
You do the exact same thing at 39:20 with 66 on th KQ8s board.

Hi pleno, although I wasn't able to participate today, but after watching the recording I'd like to let you know I really liked the format of the coaching session today especially the discussion about A :spade:Q :spade: hand towards the end somewhere just after the 40 minute mark.

The hand was:

Hero Opened A :spade:Q :spade: UTG and CO calls.

Flop is A :club: K  6 :club:

You then walked the audience through a step-by-step thought process to argue for check/calling flop rather than auto-cbetting and the viewer participation in the explanation was pretty cool too.

Quick Q: If you were in that hand as the villain facing a flop check, are you betting pretty much your whole range and if so, to what size? The range we face looks capped and weak so we could get a great price on a bluff if we bet small, but it looks so tempting to bet huge so we get 99% folds.

Do you prefer to 3b these spots? Villain is tight pf with small sample. I think we have usually the best hand, but calling sucks as well. We also block a lot of his value hands.
