This would be interesting way to play AA. Basically BU only can b/c with Ks and hero finds that he can´t profitable call with top set.
Flop: since hero block most Ax combos and don´t expect to get called down 3 streets down with Kx, then either goes to c/c or c/r
Turn: bet for value.
River: c/rai with bluff.

KsQs

Hero raise becouse of potential steal from BU ..check flop hoping to get cheap turn ...value bet on turn and check to induce bluff on river :f_biggrin:

K :spade:T

i think he has pocket kings K :spade:K :diamond: because he re-raises preflop four times the bet of button so he must have a pair .on flop he checks to see if the opponent has something bigger , on turn he bets assuming the opponent is not going for flush so the river makes it all clear so i think that the button have a Q :spade: or J :spade: with an ace so also has flush and calls

I think if hero had Ks he bets the river.

In fact I think that hero has to put villain on Ks to make the check raise on river and he can do this by virtue of the villain flat calling the turn bet.

The only hand that check raises this river given that villain has Ks is 4s5s

He plays it like a King of spades, but that doesnt mean he has one. Preflop he often flats KQ and KJ and he may 3bet connectors because lowboards often give them draws and a 3bet makes it profitable to barrel high boards, so 45 of spades for a straight flush is completely possible, trying to check-raise the flop, betting the wet board on the turn and when a 4rd spade comes, his opponent might make a thin valuebet or a bluff and a K of spades valuebets IP regardless, so a check-raise is a good option.
So Im going with 4 :spade:5 :spade: for da nuts!

K♠T♠

KQss is good enough to call, even from SB, KJs is imo close......

KTs: 3bets pre, checks flop cause even with his equity, he only gets called by better and folds out worse, lets villain bluff his non-sd eq hands like sc's etc

OTT Hero assumes villain probably bets his air on the flop, so probably has some SD eq he is now vbetting agains ~ PP's with a spade + Kx + some weak aces villain might check back otf

on the river, hero assumes villains vbetting + bluffing range(hero blocks a lot of spades himself so villain has his non-spade range wider here) is much wider than his calling range, so checks to let villain vbet hands like TTs/JJs/maybe 99s or for some reason turn his Kx or even Ax or whatever into a bluff, and obv has the nuts, so c/jams vs Qs/ stubborn Js

also is much more likely to get paid off bigger on the river by c/raising from villains stronger part of range like Qs/Js that might only just call the river if hero vbets himself

preflop standard 3bet with AKo

flop- in position check and provocate BU on bluff, semibluff or bet with Ax.

turn- after BU's check on flop, Hero bets for value against flushdraws and Ax

river- after another spade has come, Hero checks and want get more value from flush and waiting his bet. after this Hero goes all-in and tries to let commit an error opponent.

My guess is: K :spade: Q :spade:

I was in doubt between AxKs, KsQs, KsJs, KsTs, KsQx, 4s5s.

I decided to exclude AxK:spade: because despite slowplaying on flop makes sense, the danger of another spade blocking action or beating us is just too uncomfortable to deal with, even though we would have the redraw for the nuts (or 2nd nuts after 4s5s).

And decided to exclude 4♠5♠ because despite making sense as a 3-bet bluff preflop, it's marginal and you get a lot of calls IP from BU which we don't want with our low equity (it's also 3 handed!), AND with either fish or short stacker behind, it's even a worse idea. (even if we don't know if hero is good or not, but hey, NL400 with more than a stack, let's assume hero is!)

I had to exclude K♠Qx even if it makes sense in every street.
Because I see it checking much more often on the turn instead of betting, as we do want to see the river and not a raise.

At this point the tough ones are left KsQs, KsJs, KsTs.

Preflop: all 3 are too strong to fold and too weak to call, except KsQs being a value raise most of the time in a 3 handed game. Pretty standard in any case.

Flop: I assume we are good players as I said before, so we don't want to necessarily search a coin flip with a bet/raise/broke with our combo draw, and we can play it nicely in the next streets (given we also are a bit deeper, not much tho), after all we have showdown value with 2nd pair, and in a 3 handed game it's not bad at all. So we go for a check/call to catch bluffs or to crush villain's value range in the case we hit our nut flush, preventing also unwelcome raises.

Turn: BOOM 2nd nuts (virtual nuts). YEAH! We need value. We have no hopes of going broke on river if villain checks behind now, which is very probable with every hand in opponent's range. So we bet.

River: Here we try to extract maximum value by inducing villain to bluff weaker made hands or value bet weaker flushes, and prevent opponent to just call our bet with such hands (and weaker made hands wouldn't probably call).

Now, to decide between KsQs, KsJs and KsTs.
KsTs preflop would be slightly unusual or at least less probable than the other two.
KsJs and KsQs are mega close, but there's less probability for KJ to be a value 3-bet preflop as well, so with KQ at least I have double the chance for it to be either bluff or value in Hero's head.

BB isn't probably a fish. If he was, the table would be full with tons of ppl in waiting list. So he might be a midstacker. Those guys are pretty agressive squeezers so Hero doesn't have a premium hand here very often as he might give BB a dream spot to squeeze.

On the flop Hero has some mediocre showdown value. BU won't stab here as 22, A2s might 4bet/call preflop especially in these positions, so there's hard for him to represent something.

On river it doesn't make sense to turn lower flush to bluff. If BU bluffed, Hero could just c/c as K♠x or pure air would bet here only. It doesn't make sense for Hero to shove K :spade: there too as nothing worse calls unless these guys have some dynamics going on. It might be 5 :spade:4 :spade: , but I think PokerStrategy is unbalanced here and wouldn't give us a hand where the stone cold nuts is the right answer.

So I go with bluff by Hero with K9o without a :spade:

AK, with K :spade:

Pre-flop is standard 3bet
Flop, very strong hand so don't won't to chase villain away.
Turn, we bet for value if villain has a flush draw
River, since we represented no flush, with checking well get villain to bet, if we bet first he will just call us with flush

i think its k :club:k :spade:
because reraise preflop is normaly a reraise of 3 x raise and its now 4 times so hand is better i think so

KxQx (no spades)
Reasoning- 4x 3bet kind of big to be too ligh or the very top of hero's range. 3betting KQ is fine 3 handed, imo. Flop check would make sense, so would the delayed cbet on the turn after weakness from villain. After the 4th spade hits the river hero decides to ch/raise bluff to push villain off of hands like Ax, and any spade besides the K, which seems unlikely he can hold. Villains range - Ax; AxQs. that's about it.

Ok with no information except that it is a button 2x steal I am going for the following 3bet range:
"66+, A7s+, KTs+, QJs, A8o+, KJo+"

The flop check and I exclude one pair hands ie A8. I even exclude AxKs because I think that should c-bet.

ON the river I dont think there are any bluff combos simply because I can think of no real missed draws. (I dont think any good player will call a gutshot QJ on the turn and if he did he will not c/r the Q-high or J-high flush) Villian's range also looks very much like a flush. The bet size seems to target the q-high or J-high flush.

If we believe the flop check was intended as a c/r then the only real hands that make sense is :
KhKs and KdKs.

I GO FOR:
KhKs

My guess is K♠ J :club:
Preflop standard 3bet.
On the flop there isn't really much value, so the plan is c/c.
On the turn Hero decides to bet for some value with the new draw.
On the river Villain's range is weak, but he could bluff so c/r push for value.
