Maybe AsJs...

Board: J♥3♥Q♠ A♦ 2♦
       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    43.48%  43.48%   0.00% { 3d3s }
MP3    56.52%  56.52%   0.00% { AA, QQ-JJ, AQs, KTs, AsJs, AQo }

That makes a surprisingly large difference, but it's still a call.

It's fixed now.

Manu's not been the same since he adopted that bloody tiger. He's been getting abuse when he takes it for a walk, and it keeps bringing back dead dogs and leaving them on his doormat when he lets it out at night. I told him he should have brought home a nice Thai girl instead, but nobody listens to me. It's all, 'showing respect for women' and 'not treating them like sex objects' and all that stuff. Honestly, I don't know what's wrong with kids these days. :f_mad:

Agreed. Fps fo sho. Tbh, I struggle to find fun hands, so when I have a bit of a brainfart and do something like that, I post it.

Ever since my nice session at the end of last month I've been running so badly that I've had to move back to NL50. I hadn't actually totted up my BR, for a while, but today I found that it was less than 20BI for NL100. :f_cry: :facepalm:

Anyway, I look at the first 10 days of the month, during which I feel like I've been playing loads and loads of hands and generally neglecting mrsjb, and find that I've actually played 3.5K hands. Three. Point. Five. K. Wtf. Honestly, I just feel like I'm never going to be able to put in the number of hands that I need to sail past all the variance, so fuck it. I give up. I can't be arsed anymore. I'll study poker theory. I'll play poker for fun when I fancy it, but I'm not going to try to put in lots of hands. I just can't fit it into my life anymore.

On the bright side, I bought Janda's book, and it's interesting, if a little turgid. Maybe I'll spend a few evenings trying to get my head around that.

Anyway, following on from last night's girlie strop, what I'm trying to say is that, even if I do have a small edge at NL50/100, if you look at the various graphs posted around these forums (or, even better, buy our book and read my explanation of variance) you'll know that even winning players need of the order of 100K hands to reliably realize an edge, and even then you're still going to lose money over 100K hands quite often unless they have a huge edge. In the meantime the swings are quantifiably huge. I therefore declare that I am mathematician and wannabe poker theorist, and recreational poker player and, like girls, I just want to have fun. I therefore present you with my new monthly poker schedule, designed around the needs of the fortysomething poker pleasure seeker.

Week 1: One night - cash games (this will be whatever game and format I fancy). Thursday night - Zimmers (we're going to start this again next week - if you're over thirty and not a huge tosser, get in touch and you can play too).
Week 2: One night cash games. Friday or Saturday - MTT night.
Week 3: One night - cash games. Thursday night - Zimmers.
Week 4: One night cash games. Friday or Saturday - MTT night.

I may play the odd live MTT, but will probably have to give the cash games a miss unless my bankroll grows somewhat larger. Actually, the temptation to cash out and spend the money on the kids is strong, but I will resist for now.

Here endeth my attempt to make any $$$ from poker.

Not to be a big dick or anything but could I please request that Zimmers be a bit earlyer. With the live game dead on thursday I probably be able to play more but it is a bit late. NB I am +2 hours to you.

Oh and spending on kids... since when do we have a choice?.

<<--- decided Tyrone is now old enough to go from "Hot wheels" to "Ninco" so we have been rrrm rrrm-ing. Only problem Meghan at times joins the fun and she drives like hmmm her mother...

I think the plan is to take all the money from the Zimmers because JB is all baller but can't keep up with youngsters. Great Evil Plan you have there, monsieur!
