are you willing to bet/fold our hand on the flop? Cause without any more reads i believe a b/c may be a bit spewy. folding to a ch/r wouldnt be a very easy decision for me either.

How abt we check back flop to call any turn and eval river (call any normal bet on a non horrible river unless we think he is ABC and will never bet turn AND river with worse)? If he checks turn to us i believe we can still go for two streets of thin value like hero did, provided the river card is good (same assumption as with hero's line imo).

whether you bet flop or check back depends on the history you have.

if he is a good reg he should expect you to cbet this board 100% because its A high and its unlikely he flats pre with good Ax. If you suddenly check back he will immediately put you on weak ace.

if he isn't the best reg or a fish then you can definitely check back flop because they will not immediately put you on your exact hand and you can get better value on the turn/river.

in my games good regs will flat BB here with plenty of SCs like QJ/KJ/JT etc... so im happy going broke on the flop vs a range that includes draws.

Checking back flop is also good. You need to decide what kind of reg he is and what line will get you max value while still keeping some balance.
