Hi everyone. This blog is a new daily reminder for me to set and attain goals in poker. This month I've decided to focus on Poker and see how it goes, I'll need discipline so I'm hoping this blog helps keep me on track. In the past I've played a mix of games PLO, SNG's, cash and MTT's. My best performance is in small MTT's low buyins, but I've grown tired of having the poker dictate my schedule so much (5 minute breaks don't do it for me) So it's to cash game, where I hope to turn my endless break even into a winning record. My main goal is to be a winning player over large sample size. I want to improve my hand reading skills, use hand evaluation, reading and participating in forums more. I'm also hoping to get more of an insight into psychology of different types of players. As I'm multitabling, I want to improve being able to do this with more than 3 tables. Hopefully 9. I'm also testing out some new psychological based theory of opponents based on advice from Warren Buffet of all people. I will elaborate as the blog goes on. Warren says to 'buy when they're scared, and sell when they are greedy.' I've started using this principle to help with my bet sizing and bluffs. So far so good. Examples to come. Welcome to my new blog.. Sorry about the old ones! LOL. Maybe some graphs, but also some diagrams and even thought matrices to come. I'm staking myself for NL25. Here's to a +EV future.

Just think about it, how likely is it that 50 out of 180 people are colluding in a bunch of tournaments... it's virtually impossible in 180's. And if a couple of players are colluding in them... it wouldn't make much sense. The odds of being together on the tables are to slim.

i often think like this too.. 'saving up that run good for when i grind the sunday milly.. etc

the truth is that variance doesnt even out as you think it does. particularly in mtts, the ones who win the most money are gonna be the ones who are the luckiest - not in terms of suckouts or coming from behind on it own, but because u need to win the crucial flips, suckout out on the really big pots, run good when your chasing 1st prizes bigger than your biggest scores.

anyways seems your doing well- gl with your goals.
