i post this video because the screenings of ept season 6 got me started with poker. i spent 2 weeks of the summer of 2010 at a friends house and everday we watched some episodes of ept on pokerstars tv.
before that summer i thought poker was just gambling but then i realized there is a strategic component to it.
imo televised live events are the most important source to attract new recreational players to the game.
it worked with me and thankfully i soon found pokerstrategy. i was really amazed by those plays at that time, as i had no idead how the players made their decisisons. today i can understand some of them

My favourite scene is not the funny one, but it shows how poker is. It is huge crushing bad beat for Matt Affleck against Duhamel at WSOP 2009 Main Event close to the final table...The emotions shows everything, not just Matt s but also Duhamel s. And how Matt in his 23 years grabs the powers and goes back to shake hands - WOW. Had the pleasure to play multiple satellites at WSOP 2012 with Matt and he s great guy.

For me the best poker scene as a James Bond Fan, is the final hand in Casino Royale, when James Bond beats all with a beautiful straight flush. Casino Royale, the first James Bond novel by Ian Fleming
