MP range 16% so any pocket pairs are included, probably T9s as well.

These are the most likely flop c/r hands, JJ,88,44 Tc9c

The check raise is huge, making a set more likely than a combo draw.

Barrel turn and river, river isn't great for a set, but we already set up a shove, opponent will be thinking the same.

This has to be a value bet though. And its hard for villain to call down QQ-AA here, nor to even have them pre.

Which means a value bet with 44 is possibly even a little thin.

So I will guess 88. c/r doesn't make a lot of sense w JJ when you block top pair.

I'll go for A :club:Q :club:.

Standard open, if we now villian likes to bet vs missed it's a nice spot to x/r. Follow up on the turn and probably almost any river.

T :club: 9 :club:

PRE-FLOP ---> T :club: 9 :club: is in MP's range .

FLOP ---------> Here we has 54% on hitting to improve our hand, so check-raise is for value.

TURN ---------> Here we don't hit our hand since we have at least 32.5% on hitting our hand
we decide to try force opponent of the hand, and we bet.

RIVER --------> We hit our hand, and since opponent had hand good enough to call
check-raise, then to call turn bet, we bet here for value, to get called by
Two-pairs and slowplaid sets.

Hero opens with 88.

Flop: He decides to check-raise for value.

Turn: 2/3 pot with the idea to keep villain in the pot plus to be able to bett <pot on the river.

river: we bet for value to get called by 44, QJ, and hope not to seeT9.

--> 88

I've been on this hand for way, WAY too long so damn it I'll cut it short and try my guess.

I think this hand all depends on what we expect from villain, and despite trying hard I think we can't assume a thing by just watching how things went.

Flop: a good board to check/raise as it hits CO's range many times. As bluffs I believe hero here would have backdoor flushdraws and gutshot (maybe something more but nothing that would continue anyway). For value we bring the sets (even though I exclude JJ as we would really need to hope CO to have nuts-1 to pay us), combodraws, and I'm torn whether to include KK+ or not.

Turn: well, after a bet/call from villain, this turn is not the greatest to barrel, so the value range remains and we exclude BDFD.

River: at this point we can expect very little fold equity. If we arrived here with QT, we would probably check/call to bluff catch busted draws or silly value bets from villain. KK+ would be very thin and being already uncertain that we would have it on flop, let's exclude it for peace of mind.

Remaining: 44, 88, Tc9c.
Again, we go for the most probable hand (more combos), so either 44 or 88. I choose 44 for the sake of the hope to get payed by twopairs on flop as well. We go for heart and diamond due to probability again.

Final guess: 4  4 :diamond:

J :diamond: J
JJ is a raise from UTG +1
When he hits set on flop, check to check raise.
Value betting rest of hand.

i think that this is the hand because he want to protect his hand but if only did a cbet the villain could be paid with more odds, so in turn is a protection bet for appear a bluff and on the river he could pretended another bluff or more simplify value bet

QJ

Decent flat pre. Flop betc/call looks good. Turn - not folding. River, too strong to fold.

Most of the times Hero has fd or set, I don't think he would 3 barrell bluff nothing. On the river ha can still get value from Jx so the push is fine.

Probably,,, J♥ 8♥

Just top two pair.

We wanna really making big pot in early street. Check-raise is reasonable option.
If opponent check-back, It's okay. We can change pot-control line for depend turn, river card.

Turn and River looks safe, therefore simply ALL-IN for maximize value.
It is still bluffy. We hope gets call by worth just AJ, KJ type hand for trying bluff catch.

--
If We get T♣ 9♣ type great draw, C-betting is normally for value.
Any SET to also c-betting, We don't like missed value, and seeing action killer card.

My guess is 88. Preflop is standard, on the wet flop we are tempting to xr our best hands, then we are tryiang to put opp all-in by the river.

Pre-Flop: (2bb, 6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with ? ?
1 fold, Hero raises to 3bb, CO calls 3bb, 3 folds

Pre-flop looks like a standard raise

Flop: J♣ 8♦ 4♣ (8bb, 2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets 4bb, Hero raises to 14bb, CO calls 10bb

Check raise on the flop is pretty standard for a made hand or even a monster draw

Turn: 2♠ (36bb, 2 players)
Hero bets 22bb, CO calls 22bb

Turn is a brick, if hero has made a set or two pair then now is the time to bet for value, since the bet is so large then I think this is a set

River: Q♠ (80bb, 2 players)
Hero goes all-in 64bb, CO calls 64bb

River only makes the nuts for 9T, so hero would be good against any lower set, two pair or paired flush draw, shove on the river I believe is for value as he/she thinks second set is probably good

Verdict: J♠J♥

flop if hero is balanced in this spot he could have a plenty of hand
monsters: 88,44,JJ (JJ would be overplay -> because very few hand can call us, so maybe JJ std bet)
bd-s
and he also should have the best airs like: A:cQx, A:cTx, TQ and other hands... (A:cKx maybe too god to bluff like this with it)

So as we can see, hero can be pretty wide in this spot if he balanced (related to the limit where the hand was played
micro ---> almost always value --> small ->mid -> high -> balanced strategy (~2:1 bluff:value)

I don't like to split:) so my tip will be

A:cQx

GL all,

Flop: hero goes for maximum FE with low equity
Turn: barrels, because it's fun
River: decides to shove the rest against AJ, KJ :f_rolleyes:

I've just been reading Applications of No Limit Holdem, so I have a head full of 'constructing balanced ranges' and stuff. So, the value range I give Hero on the river is 88, 44, 9Ts (I'll put overpairs, JJ, and some top pairs into his flop check-calling range) . That's 16 combos, so he needs about 6 or 7 combos of bluffs, which can be the right number of busted flush draws. So, choosing randomly, I'll go with A :club:3 :club: .

About last week's hand, the villain made an odd play 4betting from UTG with a baby suited connector. If you don't provide us with the players' stats, and the player makes a somewhat unorthodox move, what else would our guess be but a mere worthless hunch?

- Unless, providing the outcome, you meant to tell us not to play AA in that place the way you did, and that would be another story...

I'll jump on a bluff for the same reasons, but I think the best bluff is probably A :club:10 :club: because it blocks the nuts and I'm going to say A9s isn't in heros UTG opening range.

Opening in 6max should be with smth like 55+,A5s+,K9s+,Q9s+,J9s+,T9s,A9o+,KJo+,QJo

Flop: Would C-bet with a draw (flush or straight) or an overpair (QQ+) in order to protect against a draw. Checks to signal weekaness and induce a bet from opponent. Check/raise could be done with JJ, 88 or T :club:9 :club:

Turn and river: as opponent calls and seems to be having a piece of this board i don't see the hero betting with T :club:9 :club:. Limits the option to JJ and 88.

JJ would be played c/c more often on this spot i think.

My final answer 88
