Extra info - Villain with VP 15, PFR 8, Call 3B 33

-->Not sure whether to just shove or put it up to 270. If I do opt for a raise, there are a lot of flops I won't like. So shove?

Hello is0l8 ,

We are too deep to shove. If we are ahead we are loosing value and also no stronger hand is folding. Depends on villain we can 3-bet and stack off, 3-bet/fold or just call. CO should be opening wide but if he is that tight that we can just call or 3-bet/fold. Without observations I don't like stacking here for 50BBs.

What would each option depend on?
1. Calling,
2. 3bet/shove and,
3. 3bet/fold?

What am I looking for with each play?

What am I looking for with each play?

1.We should do it against tight opponent opponent. We want to be careful and play post flop. We are not just playing for set with such a strong hand. We are playing it post flop.

2. Against very loose and aggressive opponent. We should do it against such a player. He is going to stack off with very wide range against which we are ahead. We are doing it for value.

3. It makes our life easier. If we 3-bet against tight opponent we got easy fold to a shove and also when villain shove we are going to know that we are folding the second best hand. It one kind turn our strong hand in to a bluff and we should not do it unless you know that villain is very tight 4-bet shoving.
Also against player who is going to call our 3-bet with weaker hand to play post flop. Which is the main goal.

Hi,

We are just too deep. No stronger hands are folding and we are loosing value from many weaker hands. With up to ~25-30BB max(normally ~20 but with weaker post flop play we can shove with bigger stacks and also the raise is 3BB, not two) I would go for the shove but that deep it is too much imo. It is +EV for sure and the easiest decision but I don't like it :f_mad:.
