Stacks:
UTG ($6.43) 64bb
CO ($11) 110bb 45/45, 12h
BTN ($10.51) 105bb
HERO (SB) ($12.99) 130bb
BB ($10.11) 101bb

Pre-Flop: ($0.15, 5 players) HERO is SB K♦ 5♦
1 fold, CO raises to $0.30, 1 fold, HERO raises to $1, 1 fold, CO calls $0.70

Flop: 3♦ 7♠ A♣ ($2.10, 2 players)
HERO checks, CO bets $0.60, HERO folds

PRE
Villains stats suggest, that he`s rather active, so I decided to throw a 3bet bluff.

FLOP
As I understand, my goal with air in 3-bet pots is to fold out villains overcards. Usually pairs don`t fold to first bet with 1 overcard on flop.
So, logically I should not c-bet, Axx and flops with 2 picture cards.

On the other hand, I rep Ax very well. But, my FE might not be that great vs 99-JJ (my image is not helping, as I 3-bet 8-10%).
Villains 3b calling range might be: JJ-99, AQs-ATs, KQs, AQo-AJo, KQo
If he would fold out 99-JJ, my c-bet would be profitable. C-bet should work 30% of the time, and in this case he would fold ~ 50% of combos.

Hi dienaszaglis

Preflop: I would not 3-bet this hand OOP 110 BB deep. OOP we should 3-bet hands with more playability that don't put us in tough spots postflop (ie: if you flop a Kx).

Postflop: Villain also has other hands in his range that can fold, better Kx and other broadways/connectors that can be folded with a bet. And there's a good chance that 22, 44, 55, 66 fold to the first bet and since we have some equity in the hand we can justify a second barrel on many cards to put pressure on his weaker hands.

So yes, you can still cbet,

Hi!

Would you 3-bet A5s, for example?

I guess, OOP I will have to start 3-bet bluff only vs known players, who open a lot and also fold decent amount to 3-bets (+80%).

Villain is rather unknown, do you really think average reg is calling 3-bets that loose (22-JJ)?
Maybe 110BB is deep enough for him to set-mine.

Any other cards you would barrel, except ?

People set mine a ton IP at these limits.

And no I wouldn't 3-bet A5s as a default.

3-bet a larger range for value, JJ+, AQ+. And for bluffs I'd use suited connectors/gappers to start with (easier to play postflop OOP without info and can still flop decent equity).
