Thanks for the tip. We're members of the National Trust, so we've already been to most of the good places around here, but there are some things I didn't know about on that map. Fortunately (unfortunately?) mrsjb has caught my cold, so, if challenged, we're going to play the 'too ill to go away' card and cough convincingly. I told mrsjb that she should have said 'We don't want to help at your pointless, tedious event because its utter wank, and we'd rather stay at home sticking pins in our eyes,' but that was deemed inappropriate and, in the long run, unhelpful to our image as good members of the community. At least I tried.

Direct and to the point, I like it
OMG. OMG. Just watched yesterday's Breaking Bad. I am traumatized.

IMO Jesse should put one through Walt's brain in the final episode.
BTW you've no idea how hard it was to not post re. this week's slice of pain.

Even his baby hates him now. Flynn's going to kill Walt and Jesse imo. 'That, that, that's BULLSHIT!'
Btw, nice to see you back here mofo.

Mysterious turn donk tricks me into calling with (I'm guessing) 88 (laptop with HEM not on atm).
As you can see, when I play on my laptop I'm pootling around on NL25, although I am bankrolled for NL50, because I'm not a serious grinder any more. I have managed to maintain gold status on PS this month mainly by playing $3.50 6max hypers on my phone while on the toilet and (very successfully) FR NL10 Zoom on my iPad while watching the TV. Don't ask me why I suddenly started playing FR. Just because.
Manu and I will be discussing our recent HU cash session, with expert commentary by TT, on their coaching on Sunday night. If you want to see me get my arse kicked, tune in, and you also have the chance to win a free copy of our book.
And our publishers asked us to make a video about the book. ![]()
JB you sound like a BBC presenter who's name is escaping me, much to my annoyance!

I've just seen that the release date for the paperback version of book is 28th October - which is peskydaughter's birthday!
So all bodes well.
I'm sure she'll be pleased with her birthday present! ♠_evil:
after so much was said about JB's preparation and so little about the book last night I thought I would post a small quote from the book:
"Here was my routine tonight: Come home from work, find Mrs. JB has invited a friend and her kids over. Try to ignore all the screaming. Wait for them to go. Eat a really big plate of fish fingers, chips and beans (presumably this must be ‘high carb’, since it tasted nice), read my daughter a story and put her to bed. Get asked to lock up the chickens and guinea pigs (for this I get a nice cup of tea, brown, not green), sit down in front of computer. Can this really be ideal preparation? I bet Phil Ivey pays someone else to lock up his pets before he plays.
