good series, i was wondering if your redline is going down as you are playing a low variance style , i.e. check / folding some flops/turns & not trying to bluff villains off hands?
and also whether its a concern or not at this point in time?

Hey Felix! It would be nice if you would make a hand rewiev video where you look at 4-5 interesting hands in 20 mins and explain ranges and your thought process. I know you don't give free coachings..but it would be nice. GL wiht the challenge! ♠_thumbsup:

I strongly assume my redline is going way down in the challenge although I basically never look at it. All I try to focus on is lines that I feel are most likely to be best in any given game in order to boost the green line.

when I watch the videos you're quick to tag someone a recreational player or reg, how do you decide so quickly without much stats and use this to you're benefit?
when I play without much stats I can only tell a fish/donk vs someone who knows the game and that's only by vpip/pfr.
would be great to know how you can so quickly pin what player they are, I guess through years of experience but I'll re-watch you're videos and still can't figure out unless it's by there strange stack sizes or without auto top up

Good question, I tried to address it in today's episode!
My color tagging is merely an attempt to make a basic discrimination between how I expect certain people to approach poker. Regs use recurring stacksizes, betsizes, lines and tend to copy/emulate these from one another over time so that's pretty much my first few clues. Of course I might be and have been totally off with these assumptions, but it's usually a good hint as to what gameplans/strategies/lines to implement.
Episode 31 features me back at some 25NL regular and some Zoom tables again:
hi flixx. somewhere in the video u play a blind v blind hand with AJo. flop K7d4d u had something like AdJs . u cbet and fold to a reraise. I love 3 betting there with the backdoor nutFD and ur opponent really isnt repping much. sets and some flushdraws. since u r blocking the nut flushdraw a 3 bet would be baller here.
even ont he micro's regs start making these light flop raises that don't make any sense. it's one of their generic tools. not liek they think much about handranges anyway , let alone balance.
the TT hand where u flopped a set. checking is the worst option ever. if i am checking its to CF and never to C/C. shoving urself is ok if you think his range has enuf 2 pair type hands ( i think it does vs a fish) .
check calling is horrible since you would allow him to check behind 2 pair type hands, fish don't valuebet light and when they do they don't even understand what they did and they probably think they made a bluff.
Allowing the fish to check behind 2 pair would be really bad. fish also tend to be very passive on rivers in position.
he doesn't have enuf air hands on a low connected board like this which should be much more in his range than yours generally speaking.
betting urself on the river is a great example of range manipulation where we allow the fish to make a calling mistake with 2 pair-ish hands. Where as checking to him allows him to play perfect and check behind 2 pair hands.
I'm only ever checking when i think i'm beat here. In this particular hand i would have shoved since the fish could have lower sets / 2 pairs pretty easily , especially given how the board ran out. Let alone some weird 1 pair herocall. always need to account for random weak hands with fish

Don't you have a tag for bad/weak regs. I mean when the guy flats w/ AJo from SB at 11:20, and x/r that board..it's baaad. What was his plan? Can't see him continue on much turns, w/ Ad i would say it's ok, then he continue on any diamond...I personally use a label for weak regs, what do you think?

I had that label for "weak" or "bad" regs initially but I tended to give it away far to easily which in turn made me assume oftentimes that I was licensed to make some superlight calls or thin valuebets. So it turned out to be kind of a fallacy which instead made me use HM notes to weaker regs.
