Yes, that's fine and all. But does that mean you have $116 in total, or only $116 in your poker account and then more money on your bank account (that you keep aside for poker)? I think this is what has caused most of the confusion here, because the way I (and possibly others) understood this, was that you are working with $116.

So what is your total, true BR then?

Regardless, the answer to your main question is simple: just buy in with 100bb instead of 200bb regardless of the stakes you decide to play. Reasons for this have already been explained above :)

but doesnt it comes at the end everyway to brm? if he looses a 200bb stack stack at nl5 or 100bb at nl10 its the same obv?

so i dont get the itention
u should do what is max ev for u. if theres a fish at nl10 and he has 300bb ill have 250bb too. but its variance for the roll.
at nl5 the same if no fish has more than 100bb it doesnt matter how much i have. i dont see the Point where it increases my ev. only Argument by op is he doesnt like to Play for small numbers. but the regs there normally arent paying u light of for that unless hes braindead or its a cooler what also is be ev in longterm

Hi, all...

There are advantages and disadvantages of keeping your entire poker bankroll in the poker rooms.

Just ask anyone who had money sit in limbo for two years after the US government shut down poker in that country.

It seems to me that 10 BI swings are far too common. With such a small amount on a single site, shuffling money to and from the reserve in the bank account would get annoying.

However each player has to make their own decisions.

Best of luck,

Thank you Hashkan for undestanding the discusssion here.

For the guy who posted the reference to Rounders, if you have read the thread you would know it has no relevance whatsover to what we are talking about. And yes Tinolaan, I'm not just working 116 only. That would be bad BRM of course.

Anyway, I'm at 160 now so fingers crossed I'll never need to deposit again. : )

BRM in basically all the cash that you intend to use for poker
regardless where you have it.

I usually have only 5-10 buyins on any poker site and the "backup" on my skrill (always at least 50 buyins) account.
This is cool for me. It's a stop-loss tactic which I've luckily almost never experienced playing micros. :)

This is what I do as well. It's not in the poker room, but it's not in my bank account either. RL and poker are separated.

Haha, hate people like you so much. Coming here for advice but you're not taking it at ALL. Why don't you just deposit $250 right away and get serious? And don't feel the need to prove anyone it's possible with $116 aswell by posting graphs, because just slightly less luck and you were broke now.

Gtfo please

Iv never lost more then 5 buyins at NL2, NL5, NL10 in 1 000 000 hands.
If u dont have anything productive to say, keep it to ur peanut brain.

First of all go f yourself. Second of all. I'm fully rolled. It just simply wasnt all on my poker account when i created the thread. Thirdly, it has being pointed put by a few people that it makes no odds whether its on your poker account, bank account, neteller account. Are you really that dumb? Foutyly anyone serious who keeps their entire roll on a fecking poker site after that shit that happened already are not very bright. I wasn't trying to prove anything either by playing 10NL with 11 buyins. Where did I ever say that ITT.
I posted a graph just for fun, nothing more.
Fiftly I am now overrolled for 10Nl according to Chris fergusons BRM so you gtfo please.

And lastly, if you read the thread carefully you would see that the advice was not
to play underolled when in actuality there was some confusion as to whether I was rolled or not, so what advice should I have taken then that your'e implying I didn't ?

Hey guys

Please don't go into that road. We have a member that wants our opinion and we give it to him. It's up to him if he wants to use it or not. If I'd say it's a brilliant idea to jump off a cliff and everyone agrees doesn't mean he has to do it.

There is no need for sentences that include the f-word. Lets all be civilized and if we don't like each other, just be the bigger man and don't respond in this thread again.

Regards

Sorry for the personal insults. It's just gets annoying after a while on poker forums when people don't read threads carefully because they cant resist trying to be funny instead which isn't funny when it isn't relevant. On 2P2, after the poker boom the place became a 4chan clone and was just hoping this place might be more mature. And it is it seems for sure, but i guess youll always get people like that poster on any forum.

also. im way more fcussed when i play 10nl because i take it more seriously where i sometimes make bad calls because i get a little careless at 5nl and i dont really have the patience to build a roll from 5nl.

but im think if i buy into 5nl with 200 bigs i too would take it as serious.

cheers

If you increase the amount of tables at 5nl you would take it more seriously instead of considering whether to play with 200BB stack.

You would be able to build a bankroll faster since you dont have the patience and be comfortable to roll for NL10.

Plus you would be making more $ multi-tabling NL5 for a few days than taking shots at NL10.

My advice: spend 1 week multi-tabling NL5 then add two tables at NL10 each day.

you will be adequately rolled for NL10 and be 6 tabling NL10 in no time. You will also be able to play your A game rather playing with scared money (because you dont want to reload everytime).
