meepo?

I like to play to blow off steam and relax after I lose 10 buyins in a session. So pretty much 3x daily.

It's nice to play bad, get your arse handeded to you happy in the fact you didn't lose any money. And are only getting yelled at by some Russian kid. Whom you don't understand anyway.

Gaming is kinda why I started playing poker. I thought, well here I am making 2c an hour playing diablo3. Hell, I I might as well learn to play poker and make 10c/hour while playing.

True story: I sold all my diablo3 items. Sold the gold, got $300 and that funded my poker career.

I made the chat channel 'pokerdota' if anyone is interested.

A few days ago I wrote I woldn't mind having a new keyboard. Some guy asked me why wouldn't I buy it now and I answered that until this one was broken I didn't see any reason to spend money.

Experiment.
Hey guys, it's been a while.

First and foremost, I have a problem with my PokerStars layout after today's necessary update. I can't install my chips (I have a cool set from TiltBuster).
If anyone knows how to make them work again — please, let me know.

Secondly, it's been 12 days since my experiment with the preparation to my sessions.

I feel myself much more confident when I sit and play. Tilt doesn't influence me the way it used to, I cuss a bit (which is the next step I guess in my self-improvement), but I don't lose money because I am tilted.

However, I'm still a human and I still make mistakes.

Started to add 100NL tables.

It was all thanks to best day on 14th of September:

Experiment was successful!

September.
Another month is in the past.

I think my stagnation is connected with the shitload of emotional stuff because it's time for me to move out of this apartment and I still haven't found my next home.

Because of that I've been playing a little bit less lately as well as a little bit worse (but only a bit!).

I started to add 100NL tables.

I hope I will find a new place fast enough to play a decent amount of hands in October.

Break.
Looking for a place in Kiev appeared to be harder and longer than I expected. Playing from my parents' place is hard too: two TVs, two cats, my mom, my dad and my granny make it impossible to think straight and fast.

So it looks like there won't be any poker for the next few days.

You can't imagine how badly I want to find a new place with a nice aura and start to kick some major poker ass!!!

Hello,
Following your blog and trust me i've read it all. Nice graphs btw.

Still one question: what happened between days 13 - 22? i mean there is a big gap there: you suddenly switched from 4 NL to 50 NL WTF?
you showed graphs with 2 4 $ and then suddenly BAM 800$ per same number of hands.

can u please clarify this? i see no way you can make a switch like this and all of a sudden from 4$ stack jump to 50$ with such ease.

If you read my blog as you said you had, you wouldn't have asked such a question.

I had a bankroll for 50NL, I just started playing from 4NL to master the basics.

i havent asked about the bankroll (you have no mention about bankroll anyway or i did not see it as i am not interested in this aspect) .... i have asked about the limits switch.
i mean come on .,, u played the micros > get your strategy together (it took anyway 13 days to master this new strategy ... or basics as you say) > switched to 50 nl and there you rule (like in 800$/day)

this course (hu mastermind) must be the real gold if u understand russian for 45$.

First of all, I didn't watch it in Russian. I got it straight from Gordon.

Second of all, I used to be a 200NL 6max reg, do you really think it was that hard for me to understand what to do in HU?

I played the micros only to do every exercise there was in that HU Mastermind course. It is cheaper to try out these things on lower limits.

And yes, the course is great indeed, because I managed to switch from a breakeven/losing 6max player to a winning HU player in such a short time!

Back in business.
I am finally home!

My search for a place didn't only exhaust me morally, but also messed up with my playing schedule. It appears that coming back to hours and hours waiting for opponents is a little bit harder than I thought, especially considering that I'm still getting used to my new place. There are still some things I need to change/fix here.

Overall, I plan to grind till the end of this month to at least try to get a desent amount of hands despite the 2 weeks break.

Also, few days ago I found not 1 ice-cream in a pack, but 1 and a half! YES, I AM A WINNER.

And boy, it's so good to live up here on the 8th floor, closer to the sky and to the hot water.

hahaha, 'exhausted morally' sounds more like fun to me! Or perhaps in this context it explains what needed to be done to secure a new home!

Captain Obvious Post.
Hello everyone!

Yesterday I decided to make a big post including various hands and spots that I struggle with.

Today it appeared that if you think carefully on your EVERY move (even the most default ones), then you actually don't have any tough decisions to make, lol.

So if you are someone who struggles with any kind of spot, I'd suggest to stop and think for about 3 seconds before you do anything.

I know I'm being the "Captain Obvious" now, but in our fast modern world sometimes it is so hard to just stop and think.

For those of you who're interested in how I am doing, here's today's graph:
