Hi david26551

Preflop: People rarely 3-bet blinds vs UTG/MP without a strong hand so folding AK would not be a mistake.

Postflop: AS played why shove over his PSB? He is very polarized. Either a bluff trying to scare you or the nuts (which don't fold).

So call flop and call down imo to let him bluff.

Should I have folded preflop? or was a call acceptable?

Hello,

Bogdan, if we assume people don't 3bet light in these positions, what bluffs do you think BB might have on the flop?

Yes, folding is definitely fine.

@John: very valid point however hero called here which implies that he feels villain can 3-bet light. So I would assume we think he has AQ/AJ type hands that can stab the flop.

If we assume he has a tight range we do not call preflop which is my preferred option without any info.
