UTG+1 lovbabylov ($432.90) 216bb
CO Cas1noRoyale ($216) 108bb
BTN kukusique ($561.02) 281bb
SB tomsOn ($200) 100bb
BB pleno1 ($593.50) 297bb

Pre-Flop: ($3, 6 players) pleno1 is BB J♥ T♠
3 folds, kukusique raises to $4, 1 fold, pleno1 calls $2

Flop: 4♥ 2♣ 8♠ ($9, 2 players)
pleno1 checks, kukusique bets $6, pleno1 raises to $17, kukusique raises to $38, pleno1 raises to $88, kukusique folds

Final Pot: $85

pleno1 wins $132.20 (net +$40.20)

kukusique lost $42

Can you explain the thought process involved in this hand?

Anyway, I guess it is a mistake for the villain to fold an overpair in this spot. You don't represent the set very often here and the board is too dry.

Hello pleno1 :)

I'm a member of the French community and I discovered that thread lately. A very helpful one indeed. I reproduced the HUD you recommanded at the beginning of the thread but ranges for some stats are missing:
EP PFR, MP PFR, CO PFR, BTN PFR, SB PFR
BTN Steal, BB Folds to BTN steal.

That would help me a lot in order to put some colours on those stats :megusta:

Thanks a lot !

Hello,

I'm still straggling to make profit.

When I checked my stats, my sb,bb result was poor.

So I want to know about blind deffence.

When BTN open 2bb steal, he can make insta profit when FE is over 55% FE.

Moreover, sb shouldn't defend wider than bb. So if I assume sb should defend half of bb, sb should 16% defend and bb should 32% defend.

However, it seems too high because it doesn't include BTN range.

How did you make 50% BTN open range and sb bb defend range?

Hey Pleno!

In your newest video, your hud has changed a bit from previously. What stats did you use?

I can see..

Name/Hands
VPIP/PFR/AS
3bet/Fold to 3bet/3B
CB/FC/FT

I had some questions though.
What's AS? Attempt to steal? What range would you consider a tight AS range, and what would you consider to be loose?
What's 3B in the 3rd line? Mind you, I'm just guessing the stats, but I presume the first to are 3bet/fold to 3bet. What's the third stat?
And CB/FC/FT, CB = continuation bet, FC = fold to continuation bet, is FT = Fold to turn cbet?

Thanks Pleno. :)

How do you play low boards in 3bet pots as the 3better?
how much are you cbetting barreling and giving up on those boards.
do you x/c and x/r some hands as the 3better?

i feel that im giving up a little bit to much on those boards but im not sure?

I would suggest defending more from the big blind.

Generally vs a random opponent, how wide would you defend your bb vs a button min raise?

It depends how deep I am. I generally go with a small cbet size as it wont hit the villains range, if he calls me I generally put him on a pair and put pressure on on good run outs, this is very vague of course but as a general strategy will be ok.

I think I should defend around 20% at BB but all 3b range seems loose at MSS.

I'd love to, but your coaching starts at 6am local time for me so I doubt there's a way I'd be awake in time. :)

Haha that's pretty sexy <3

Even if its not good (it looks fine!) it's great that you are starting to try different lines and experiment rather than playing abc. You're now thinking about the game and a certainty to push through the stakes :f_love:

Ip im really going to push this thread over the next month. Feeling a lot of love and want to give a lot back in this thread. Ask me anything and ill try to reply once a day to every question.
